Yeah, thought there might be a fair few cars spinning off going by practice/qualifying but I eventually decided it wasn't worth fighting off my hangover snooze and have missed about 20 laps, I regret nothing.

    Same, mine numbing stuff tbf

Noticed new camera angles this year, turns out FOM have got control of the TV coverage this time around......

....so less random shots of people on the boats then.

Yeah, the shot of Mirabeu looking up towards the casino is a nice angle

I'm debating whether to get the ferry and cycle over to Jura to the distillery and do one of the paps. Not a massive fan of Jura whisky but still want to tick it off the distillery list.

The warehouse tasting is worthwhile, the mass release whisky isnt the best version of what it can be but the stuff straight out the cask is a treat.

The ferry crossing is good too, it has to point about 45degrees away from where it moors as the current is that strong. Nice wee view of caol ila too. IMG_20221014_164711.thumb.jpg.83de9ae4c4b1726d51f2c5bc47ec7590.jpg

My only hope for this season is a Fernando win at some point. Hopefully Max & Checo continue jousting so there’s at least a semblance of a title fight, only for one to take the other out at some point allowing Nando to waltz through to a P1.

    We can live in hope.

EDIT: Also if Sargeant continues on his current trend, Williams would be as well dumping him after Austin and just flinging Jamie Chadwick in the car for the last few races. I’m sure she could finish 20th and 20 secs off the pack as well.

Monaco is a prime chance for Alonso. Needs qualy to go well but he's got the nerve to grind it out.

I'd love to see it, watching him enjoy himself so much this year is just about keeping me going.

..... and Hamilton greeting and being shyte 🤠

Todays struggle will be not falling asleep during Q1 after several pints and a massive curry.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, I am not Charles Leclerc.

In fairness to him, he does make the point that Red Bull are dominating because they have done the best job, his point was more to do with cars running together in midfield which cannot overtake one another due to the design of the cars.

Yeah, granted, though he didn't care about the midfield when they weren't part of it.

I can see my interest in Formula 1 drifting this season with this new format and the fact I don't have Sky. Sprint race weekends were always a bit useless with two days worth of competition being condensed into one highlight package. A day of qualifying and racing then another day of qualifying and racing followed by a day of racing... what's the point? I just really don't want to put the time in to watch and follow all of it when it feels like the same thing over three days for no real reason.

This basically describes the fortunes of Lando Norris.
