I don't think it's uncommon for people to think that mental health refers exclusively to mental illness. If Mr Setsniffer read concerns about mental health with that understanding then i can understand why he'd think the guy was being a bawbag.

I think the population at large needs more education about mental health and how people who aren't mentally ill can be affected.

i know the difference between mental health & mental illness, but i'm tired of reading about ''effecting my mental health''  i know old folk who are alone, parents who's kid is in hospital with cancer, adults with cancer, stroke & heart issues, all while this Covid shite is making those thing even more difficult, yet somebody that can't get down the gym or play football on a saturday, we've to feel some empathy for them ? Here's a phrase for them from the 90's ''Man the f**k up!!'' shower of greetin faced twats, and easily more than 50% of them are lying b*****ds.

  2. if you're not a farmer, and you own a quad bike,, you're an arsehole, you're even a bigger arsehole than your summer cousins, the jetski owner, but at least they slimy b*****ds use it to get their hole, or at least the ones i knew did.

the serious issue of Mental Health being used by every c**t that can't get their own way, just read a back page of a local newspaper, where a Junior manager is moaning about the suspension of football, and the effect it will have on his players mental health, absolute fuckin bawbag.

Four years ago I would have agreed.

What astounds me are these prominent and powerful politicians still being so deferential.

If only one of them would speak their mind, preferably on tape.

he won't be around forever, those still licking his arse are hoping his fanboys notice, and transfer their support to them.

I'm not saying Fergie wasn't one of the greatest of all time but his strength was man management...he surrounded himself with the right people to keep his team evolving tactically. Mourinho has done the same when he joined Spurs.

Archie Knox showed his worth when he joined Smith at Rangers

Brian Kidd was the man behind the class of 92

Steve McLaren introduced video analysis and stats based coaching to Fergie. Also became a successful manager in his own right

Mike Phelan was fergie's assistant twice and he returned to be Solskjaer's assistant at the tail end of last season which has seen them go from mid table dross and Solskjaer out" to joint top with a game in hand and "Ole's at the wheel"

Rene Meulensteen was an important part of the end of Fergie's time and the plan was initially for him to stay on to assist Moyes. Moyes decided to bring in his own team and it didn't go quite to plan.

Eric Harrison was the ''man behind the class of 92''

they were all good assistants, but Queiroz had a real say over how things went, which lead to....

Yip. It's why Fergie was so good. He could adapt. Most managers can't.

The only assistant you can really claim did that was Carlos Queiroz

Ordering Fitness Equipment online is a nightmare just now and I nearly had my fingers burnt with Fitness Superstore.  Definitely go with Powerhouse Fitness they have a street retail presence (Antigua St in Edinburgh) which doesn't mean much right now, but are very reliable..  I've now bought 24kg and 32kg kettlebells from them and they're excellent quality compared to my 16kg Argos one which was a much cheaper brand.

I've bought plates & KB's from Powerhouse, they are pretty reliable, as are Newitts

what a breath of fresh air this thread is, proactive folk making the best of a bad situation, i got absolutely hammered on another forum back in March because i mentioned i had, over a number of years, accumulated 4 various bars, 300+ kilos of plates, 25kgs rope, so on and so forth, apparently that makes me a hoarder, no better than the twats that filled their tesco trolley with shitpaper, pasta & dettol.

Typically small minded attitude I think. He had one injury which he took some time to recover from. That’s not “injury prone”. From the games I’ve seen, Luke Shaw looks like a jobber of a defender. He’ll end up playing for the likes of Burnley, then Barnsley, Blackpool and Bolton.

nah, Shaw in with the bricks at United,  no other team could afford his wages, thats why the can't get rid of Jones & Rojo and they had to pay a chunk of Sanchez's wages when he was on loan

Just reflecting on Tierney’s performance yesterday. I’ve seen plenty of Liverpool games so have seen how good Andy Robertson is with them. I’ve seen little of Arsenal but decided to watch their last couple of games. Tierney was magnificent in both and yesterday in particular he ran riot going forward. His goal was sublime but his all round play was superb. Ok, it was only WBA some may say, but it’s still a huge step up from Hamilton, St Mirren, Motherwell, etc.. (sorry, no offence to them), but he’s shown he is easily good enough and, from what I’ve read, Arsenal fans rave about him.
It’s a little unfortunate that perhaps the best two left backs in the English premier league are Scottish in terms of how we can accommodate both in the Scotland team, but brilliant that we can still produce quality players.
incidentally, in the albeit small number of Arsenal games I’ve seen, Tierney looks to me like a better all round player than Andy Robertson.

Arsenal's  next captain, i told Arsenal pals he'd end up better than Robertson, i think he already is, but if he isnt, he's well on his way, i also told a few Man United fans he'd be great for them, but i got ''he's not united class mate. Shaw and Williams are better and he's injury prone''

There are several historical examples of “wrong sided” full backs excelling in the role (i.e. Paolo Maldini, Denis Irwin off top of my head) but they’re mostly back in the days of defenders being defenders first and foremost.

The young fella Williams at Man Utd who was playing on the left, is right footed.
