  1. Was that patches of grass I spotted between the bunkers?
  2. Brian Rice sounds like a very decent appointment to me. Bearing in mind who we are and where we are, we weren’t exactly going to lure Juergen Klopp away from Liverpool. Rice to me would be a massively significant improvement from Baz, so let’s meet this with some positivity and hope. The only way is up.
  3. Ask and ye shall receive. Apparently. Now let's hope we find out that the answer is yes, and that the clowns finally get sacked from the circus.
  4. For me, the saddest thing of all concerning the past two results is that not only was I not surprised, I wasn’t even disappointed. That, actually, is more saddening than losing. I really hope something changes very soon, and that something HAS to be the manager.
  5. A bit of a win or win situation for Bazza tonight, wasn’t it?
  6. A lot of groaning here about BF having a go at the supporters. Now, I’m not the man’s biggest fan, but I can’t say I blame him for snapping back a bit at the barrage of negativity from the vociferous few moaners. Yes, it’s a part of the job to cope with that, unfortunately, but, in all honesty, if you were perpetually pelted with abuse at your work, you would probably snap a lot quicker and a lot harder than he apparently did. The disadvantage of being at a small club like ours is that you hear everything. So, sure, we’re all a little frustrated, and we all have the right to express that, but really things are not so terrible. So I would say give everyone a break, and just support the club. Try motivating.
  7. We probably need to give the negativity a bit of a rest here. It’s bad for the blood pressure! It’s a very new team, and it’ll take a few more weeks to find a pattern. That’s pretty much the same situation every season. Yes - I’m as baffled and rattled as anyone over the Neil Parry affair, cos it’s ridiculously bad judgement in all eyes except BF’s and associated sycophants, but there is still a nucleus of a good team. So as long as BF doesn’t commit any further axe strokes of unfathomable lunacy, I reckon we’ll be fine. Soon.
  8. Not really. It’s more the total lack of communication that is upsetting. But it does leave us with one goalkeeper and no back up. Unless of course he has a masterful master plan, but I am l sceptical about that. I hope I’m wrong.
  9. Yeah, he’s gone from the team list on the website. No mention elsewhere though. Again - a bit disrespectful. It’s all a bit of a shambles, isn’t it?
  10. Really interesting to read Neil's take on it, as it's exactly how most of us assumed, I suspect. For a manager to show such a level of disrespect to ANY player is atrocious. The very least you can hope for from a manager is a little bit of honesty. I'll be honest, I am not surprised. I am glad that Neil's got a new gig though. Lucky Clyde - that's what I say. They have just landed a great keeper.
  11. The stream and synchronisation were pretty much perfect today. By far the best I’ve experienced during the season. Great job!
  12. The biggest plus for me from today was that I missed every single goal except Bucks’ penalty, due to the stream freezing. Things can only get better...
  13. Not sure if I’m watching football or The Matrix.
