Football fans often have tunnel vision and look at their own club in isolation. I've just had a look at the confirmed squads thread and everyone bar Killie is in a similar position as us - i.e. short in at least one are of the pitch (Morton appear not to even have a GK). Perhaps the difficulties in getting people in this year are impacting everyone, but regardless we'll all be fishing in the same pond which makes it a seller's market for the players. And it should also be noted that we didn't have a midfield worth the name from November onwards last year and still sneaked the playoffs.

These two are both tremendous efforts from the wee team. Fair play.

Mehmet looked decent from what I've seen, but he's played surprisingly few games in his career. Still need another body to cover defence and 3/4 midfielders/wingers. But we're only one good CM away from a very good starting XI with everyone available imo.

It is definitely Sliema Par. He makes almost identical comments on the thread regarding the Cinch sponsorship as in the article.

Agree entirely with this. That would seem to be our best team atm.

That 4-2-3-1 has the potential to be a really exciting side. My only reservation is that Turner seems to play better in that AM role behind McManus.

Pains me to write this but Raith are the best team I've seen in the league this year.
