From what I remember of Josh he showed nothing special was poor imo in his appearances. I recall when maloney started using him regularly at hibs a lot of friends couldn’t quite believe as they thought the same. But fair play to the guy plays most weeks for the past season or two.

Hopefully can get one or two decent loans in and get back to signing the best PT players that are actually known to us rather than randomers from down south that come on trial. recruitment been better this summer but still no great so all in all would say it didn’t really work out.

Personally don’t see the point in an interim until the end of season as January window coming up and there will be ins and outs. Interim might have totally different style/ philosophy to the future longer term manager. rather just see us go for our target with the plan to stay in the league but if we do get relegated then they can start the rebuild straight away.

Having a development squad is daft for us. Yes we have reasonable money but why waste so much of it on another full squad of wages won’t be loads but still a chunk, a coaching team, facilities, equipment etc etc. yes the squads think but a development squad isn’t the answer. The good young local talent will already snapped up by all the big development teams

Yeah Davidson is a no from me turgid stuff from his really poor assembled squad at saints.

Dicks no done all that himself yes he’d played a part but the board have done a lot of that work and bringing in people like Paul Reid etc

When we appoint yogi bear hughes I’m sure you’ll find a positive spin to it clashy. the way we were getting skudded week in week out was going to get us relegated anyway so why not try something different.

I personally feel this will be the Campbells last season with us if they even make it to the summer. But If Arbroath were to move on from the Campbells who’s actually available or would be a decent appointment of the top my head Stewart Petrie obvious candidate, Darren young? Kevin Thomson? Other than that slim pickings.

15 goals conceded in last 4 games if pretty fucking horrific for a team who are well known for being defensively solid normally yes we weren’t great great last season and parts of this but we’ve never been so easy play against
