Not sure when they set the guidelines for this bronze license but maybe they should of set it at the start of a season instead of half way through then some of these teams may have got prepared for it and wouldn't of had this mess now. But then if Buckie supposedly had 3 three letters sent to them about the upgrades and everything needed from way back in October last year to supposedly march this year then surely they knew fine and just couldn't be bothered as they are rumoured to not want to join the spfl leagues

Nobody in the Highland League have the Bronze license......nobody can go up.
Just realised that just now i honestly thought Brechin might of had bronze license but then it kind of makes a shambles that the spfl have done as no team can make it up to league 2 by the looks of it next season unless they do the amendments needed . At least the teams wanting to progress into league 2 next season have a clue now of whats needed after that lesson

This reminds me of the time when Brora had a similar situation when they couldn't be arsed joining the spfl leagues why win a league when another team could easily go up and want to go up for example Brechin im pretty sure they’ll be a bit peeved off

Where do Elgin train?
Usually at the gleaner arena on lesser borugh briggs but its usually just our north based players and it use to be occasionally Aviemore to any south based players i assume train with clubs local to them it might have all changed now but thats when Gavin Price was manager

The Tour visited Borough Briggs for Elgin's game back in February against East Fife.
We spoke with club officials and had Allan Hale on our podcast eventually.
It is a trip The Tour loved a lot and wondered if Elgin fans agree or disagree with the thoughts and opinions The Tour generated form their visit.
Please read and share your opinions.

I believe he has never really had a proper job out with football. But like above after 2 years out and at his age he has run out of time for me to demand big wages. He was on £500 plus a week at Elgin before he went to Caley I am led to believe. No chance he will be getting anywhere near that at the moment I wouldnt imagine from any team.
Offt Jesus didn’t realise it was that much he was getting paid from us and just what I was thinking with an injury of that stature usually ends the majority of some players and with his age getting on a bit for a player it’s not stacking to well up for him but if he gets a decent deal some where then all the best to him

Heard he got an offer from Elgin but he seems to have forgotten he hasn’t played for 2 years and we have already funded one cruciate operation for him.
Yeah heard that to about the offer from us and I’m sure before he got offered his offer from Inverness he got another offer to stay on with us and refused due to money supposedly and I forgot about that one that must of cost a fair bit for the club to fund that operation I suppose maybe he’s got a bit greedy money wise after the offer from Inverness and playing with them yet the way they released him was a bit unfair

See that Shane Sutherland back gaining fitness after his injury for a while and said he did get an offer not long ago but by the sounds of it money wise it wasn’t for him but is looking for a club in the Inverness area

Surely Clyde will be on a high and much more confident after that stenny result which will make it even tougher for us yet our results recently have been on the up so hopeing maybe more than just a draw and a win would be a bigger positive obviously but will be a tough one I think

Great result. How many goals have we lost in the last few minutes! Great to see us getting the late goal.
Just what I was thinking when I seen the score in the final minutes it makes a change when we usually lose a goal in that last minutes

Great result and an away win for a change and a bit more progress up the table now hopefully pick up some momentum now well done lads

Hard one to call I think both teams will be gunning for it so hopefully that’ll make it a decent game our home forms in our favour but we’ve hardly been a free scoring team this season so il predict a boring draw of 0-0 or surprise us with a 4-4 draw or something like that

And the lord said let there be light but aye the floodlights sorted

Good news with the extra addictions it’s shaping up a bit better now and with Shane Sutherland in training to I’d easily take him back once he’s fit and 100% especially as we’re not that strong up front now since Hester left

Excellent news 2 great servants to the club extending there contracts hopefully few more new faces soon to

Good to get another result again
first penalty is a hard one to call for the ref from what I seen and seen on the replay jones got to the ball first and knocked the ball on then keeper collides obviously the keeper thought he was getting there first and ended up colliding with jones due to his momentum in coming out for the ball but still probably classed as a penalty in the end and second penalty can’t say much about that it’s a clear penalty in the end

Great to see some transfer and loan business done early into the window so far

Surprised by that result honestly thought a thumping was coming our way so didn’t expect much but a decent win in the end and at last a result in our favour especially in the position we are and Clyde losing

At last a descent result didn’t think of us getting anything from this game before the start also a result that goes our way in the table and hopefully build on from this result well done lads and happy new year win it comes

Utter disgrace some of the youth now a days no respect for anyone or anything and after losing his wife recently as well they get let off with everything now a days anyway thanks mr tatters for all the work you did for the club through the years and hope everything’s ok

Should be announced soon then I guess and should be interesting he’s done a good job at Huntly getting them in the near the top end of highland league and they seem to perform a lot better than previous seasons and he’s a little more local so should help a bit

If pitch inspection is 7:30am I doubt it’ll go ahead especially with it getting even colder over night and at that time in the morning there’s no way it’ll be thawed out even if inspection was later on in the the majority of the pitch will still be unplayable probably

Any news on the weather up there? Will the game go ahead?
Quite a hard frost so wouldn’t be surprised if the pitch is affected unless there’s covers down but don’t know if the covers would make much of a difference could be a different story by tomorrow but still meant to be chilly so I predict there maybe a pitch inspection

This game will be called off after your team and supporters have left for the game.
It's what this silly little club do.
We’ll make sure that our home game with you in February is called off in advance then

It puzzles me because if Buckie truly wanted to go up the leagues and were told previously with 3 letters about the amendments needed for the bronze license you’d of though all of it would of been done by now or close to getting it all done and in time for the playoffs and for their recent statement if it trully is from the sfa about giving them time until the 15th may then its a bit dodgy of the sfa supposedly changing their mind and expelling Buckie from the playoffs so either Buckie is making out they've tried making time for it but trully dont want to go up or either something dodgy has went on at the sfa
