Very much this, when you have a goalkeeper who hasn't played a massive amunt of competitive football for their age amd who clearly has weaknesses in their game they are going to need some work to become better. Friday is a prime example of this and his naivety. You then play them in front of a revolving door of defenders and midfielders covering positions it is going to affect their reading of the game and their expectations. If he had the same back 4 in front of him for a season I think the weaker aspects of his game would improve. Things like collecting crosses and the general command of his box. You can't do much with kicking some keepers are shite at it end of. That said he has to take the criticism.on the chin and reflect on it. Something as poor as that was is unlikely to happen to him again because it'll haunt him. Not to say he won't make other outrageous mistakes but that was a harsh lesson in being aware of your surroundings and conditions.

That final game at home to Arbroath has potential to be both a title and relegation decider all rolled into one. It would be the peakiest of peak cinch moments.

Vaughan has been going down all season and everyone has noticed it including refs. Like you say there's no need for it. Thought he played well last night but was never getting a goal.

In the first half you could see his kicks were flying down the park. Less so in the 2nd, but don't tell Arbroath fans the wind is an issue there. He's made a c**t of it no 2 ways about it, that said we were reeling from the minute Arbroath scored their first.

It's been done to death by everyman and his dog but it's all about the defence yet again. Watson has manged to injure himself jumping for a header (he should have scored) and we've lost the organisation at the back. Look who knows what will happen this season, Dundee United seem equally as keen to throw away any possible advantage. That said whatever happens whatever league we end up in it is a complete rebuild at the back. We need at least 1 new RB and at least 3 new CB that are experienced and capable of holding a line and marking runners. Watson has done well when he plays but he's played in average every 3rd/4th league game and I'd injured again. Murray has not given a good account of himself which has been covered in part by playing with Watson. We have no right back to speak of after May. Dick is average at best. Masson and Corr without slagging them off serve no purpose. Murray will not play them and will move on. I think we are better than that in some areas and worse in others. Our attacking players are very good for this level. However our defence is a mess and last night showed a poor mentality to see out a game.

I'm fucking furious about this. I'll take us being shite and getting beat that happens. Tonight though we were flying along in total control of the game. Arbroath have got a goal from nothing against the run of play, it happens we should be used to it. From that point onwards we were finished, yes Kev has sold the Jersey for the 2nd but we were still stunned from the first. We've completly shat that match. This is about mentality and character tonight when it mattered and we've fucking crumbled on a dreich night against the worst team in the league. Nights like tonight and teams that are in the position we were in grind out that win and become champions. We are yet again reliant on other teams doing our job for us.

Mcintyre made 2 subs at half time which did f**k all. He threw Bird on as a last chance to change the game which he has. That said our keeper has been equly as impactful for you.

We are throwing this away, need to get a cool head on the park to grip this up.

I think Vaughan is going to be frustrated by the end of the match nothings quite coming off for him in terms of chances. McIntyre looks desperate just flinging on subs more in hope than expectation.

He looked majestic that's the sort of goal you concede when you're in a relegation battle, the ball could have gone anywhere. Come on Rovers let's kill a team off for the first time.

What sort of state has "Big Dick" left Arbroath in? Can't imagine he was big on future planning.
