Indeed he should be. From where I stand or sit I haven't heard anyone trying to provoke him. I'd hope he'd rise above that considering his experience in an OF cauldron. The stated aim was never going to be achieved but I thought we'd have made a better fight than the position we find ourselves in. Had other teams not been so poor our position would look far more perilous. I don't see us reaching the play offs on the season so far, regrettable but my wish is we don't find ourselves in the play off that we all dread. If that occurs I would expect the performance and expectation issue to be addressed. Lets face it, he won't walk as this will most probably be his last managerial gig.

Unfortunately the final paragraph is the way many feel. I do not for one minute think the vast majority of people behind the scenes are not fans. However, I'd put a large wager on the fact the managements chosen supported team is not Alloa Athletic.

As an employee of the club you should perhaps take a leaf out the managers book, say little or nothing. For all the good you do (credit where due) , snide comments like the one above don't go anyway to turning the present tide of unrest toward the club. Don't feel you should be the spokesperson for managememt or board. That is their job.

Fair point from a Scottish football legend (Mr Stein, not the author). I do hope the refusals are for footballing reasons and not what they've heard about the management style! From what I've observed of the management team there has been a fair bit of negativity in various shapes and forms. Turning on Parry who gave such a lot to the club was quite distasteful as is the treatment of a lot of last years squad. So it does balance itself out.

Just read this again as the ire building within me is ruining my weeks. For Connolly to be sent over by the manager (who apparently can speak well in other media forums), is an absolute outrage. If Mr Connolly has so much care for the club he'd be making his feelings known to the manager and board! To blame fans is an insult to those who have paid hard earned cash into this club for many years. I agree there is a line that should not be crossed verbally toward staff however the manager, and looks like our chairman (whom I have a lot of respect for), appear to think they are above criticism. Wish I could switch off from the whole thing but as all fans know that is an impossibility.

Not impressed much at all, probably the best of a bad bunch of Ferguson signings. Apparently Henderson not coming back either. Rumour has it both don't want to return due to our managers style of management. Now there's a surprise another kick in the nuts for fans, young players not being developed and a further division 2 nail in the coffin. Fair play to that. The squad didn't really need what he has done. Parry jettisoned inexcusably, Graham treated terribly, Jamieson fired out at earliest opportunity, Howie seldom used, Williamson totally frozen out, again for what reason considering the disasters (his signings) he's had at LB. Cawley, O'Donnell and Trouten all treated shabbily for no apparent reason. O"Donnell and Williamson should get out in January, would walk into a Div 2 team and get more respect. Taggart and Robertson are really the only 2 he has regularly persisted with. Says it all that the absolute pish he has brought in have got us where we are. Have a look at yourself BF, it's no for you son and you're kidding yourself on.

Billy Little had about 3 momths so no danger. McAuley was dreadful. Ferguson on the other hand has signed boys from EK, not with clubs and not even getting a game with lower league teams. But hey he knows best!!☹

Think it's totally unfair of you mate to direct your ire toward Leodhasxd and the lack of information from the club. He to my knowledge is probably not qualified as a PR, spin doctor or marketing executive. He can only produce what he is fed. I'm no polis but I'm guessing if he's not involved in Go fm or the Daily Record he ain't getting much to share with the now long suffering, ticket purchasing small fanbase that we are! This shambles is football related not comms and marketing. Our, the fans, anger has and should be directed in the first instance to Ferguson. Thereafter if not removed from his post toward the board, chairman and owner. This has now gone too far. We have plummeted to our lowest league position in years. His win ratio is a disgrace, his signings equally uninspiring and his total disdain, lack of class and ignorance toward fans and players is clear for all to see. No matter what I've heard about how hard working he is there is no tangible result on the pitch or within the structure of the club as a whole. The players do not give a toss about him, fact. His rants, arm waving, kneeling down and negative body language, neither would I. His treatment of the young community kids stinks of arrogance and disrespect. They are the future fans(not players as he has no respect for our young squad members) of this club. If you shut them off now they won't forget that and will not follow the club. There are too many distractions for kids, we need to engage them, not make them make negative comments about the leader/face of the club!! Serious bridge building is required now. Not one more game to get it right. The time has come to empty this baffoon before his over inflated opinion of himself destroys the fabric and league status of this great wee club. It would not surprise me if he attempts to bring his own son to the party, that would be the icing on the cake. A new manager NOW in order to stabilise the disaster and rid the club of the wage collectors he has assembled. This coming month is the most important in years, manager wise and player movement wise. Do the right thing board and save us from League 2 football probably with another mass turn around of players. I don't even wish to be wrong on this front, I'm sick of this and never ever thought I would be willing other teams to beat us. I now want them to nail the lid shut on this absolute disaster soon before it's too late.
