It doesn't work as a "refund if lose" any more (About a year or so I think!)

It is a "Risk free" bet inplay nowadays, so, if you lost it you lose no cash, but no refund!

    Got it, been a while!

  2. Big fan of Barry now after not liking him at first, his reading of craig David’s 7 days was immense. I like Jonathan Wilson too, ironically both sunderand supporters, although no idea why Barry supports them. Had world football phone in on before as no other new ones today, dotun is an oaf, lots of the reviews panning him. Been listening to game of our lives World Cup specials and they’re really good even if it’s a bit too left leaning at times for even me, saying Argentinians think they are superior as they are the whitest in South American and ‘all neutrals’ apparently wanted Nigeria to Knock them out.

  3. Been listening to totally football show and the guardian daily ones in the morning, obviously a fair bit of overlap. Had a bit more time today so listened to world football daily one for vicarys reaction to Argentina which to be fair he predicted, dotun was peak annoying and managed to make Adrian chiles seem likeable by comparison.

Had a go at Top Flight Time Machine, presented by Andy Dawson (of Atheltico Mince) and Sam Delaney.

I managed about 10 minutes before I found Sam Delaney too much. Anyone else tried it and reckon it's worth ploughing through?

    It’s ok but not essential.

  5. catching up on things now, listened to world football show for first time in a while and found it generally repetitive and no less annoying, shame as the correspondents are all usually good.

Listened to ‘we came to win’ which was added to totally Football show feed, was decent enough to warrant a subscription, not unlike the ESPN podcasts and all looking back at iconic World Cup moments, worth listening to just to hear Americans describe bovril. Similarly I tried the Football ramble again for the history specials, on Argentina v Cameron from Italia 90 and whilst they are fairly knowledgeable they still grate laughing ridiculously at their own jokes, Pete Donaldson’s squeaky voice is most annoying.

  6. Stopped listening to alive and kicking all the time due to the presenters radio dj type voice at times and habit of getting small things wrong but the latest one with john Devlin who is a football shirt author is really good if you’re into old shirts, reviewing all the 90’s World Cup ones.

I have seen the Manics twice in the Hydro and twice in the Barrowlands and they suit the smaller venue more. Both of the Barrowland gigs I went to were absolutely mental. Something is lost in the bigger venues.

Aye I went up to the barrowlands tor the holy bible tour, was great, went to Manchester same week.

  8. I’ve seen the manics more than any other band, 7 times all told in 3 countries including my first proper gig. My heart sank when I seen them plastered on all the local bus advertisements so not too surprised it didn’t sell out, felt a duty to go but a half full Newcastle arena has zero appeal. On the flip side I heard a bit of nickys solo stuff for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised by  it. Made  right decision to stay away based on set list as I’ve not really listened to them since this is my truth and I’ve not listened to that since it came out.

Can you see anything at all in the cheapo seats? Or is it really pointless and may as well splash out big time for what's already an expensive trip?

Toronto was ok Ron what I recall as rounder but Miami felt miles away, wasn’t going solely for wrestling but would definitely splash out extra for what’s a one off for most people. New Orleans would be a great one to have went to as stadium not far from French quarter, not out of town.

Anyone that has been to a Mania, have you noticed whether hotels in the area and airlines put prices up around Mania weekend? Planning on New York for next April and obviously Mania is at the MetLife next year. Purely coincidental timing but I’ll be making sure I get a ticket.

Have been ok when I’ve went in 02 and 12 as massive cities anyway and most of the arenas are out of town although Toronto was handy. If I ever went back I’d get a decent ticket rather than be right at the back.

  11. Got tickets for pixies doing surfer Rosa/come on pilgrim in London, Newcastle gig will  inevitably now be announced next week.
