Quite like Leanne Crichton but come on "Is it on, is it off, we don't know". You don't need calibrated cameras to see he's clearly off.

I like Milne a lot but I honestly wouldn't swap Megwa and Hancock for anyone in this league.
Megwa appears to be a fantastic player. Can't believe Hibs will loan him out next season especially if your in the same league. Sometimes it was warranted last night, but he does seem to go down very easily.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea but I don't think it's a good one either. I'm quite sure though, it would make Callum Davidson unhappy.
I would expect the appointment (or not) of a Dir. of Football would have been part of Davidson's discussions

Wasn't it Nuijten who changed the system to three at the back and Davidson kept it going? I wouldn't mind a modicum of Dutch influence remaining in the club.
Believe he changed to a back 3 for the new year Patrick game. Clearly I don't know but I did wonder, after his appointment, whether Davidson had been offering advice prior to him taking over officially. Either way without Nuijten beating Dunfermline we'd have been in trouble.

Nobody else in the Championship has come close to 100 bookings, not in the last 20 years anyway.
Next highest total is 90. That was also Morton. Last season.
Can anyone draw any conclusions from that?

Safe at last, not that I had any doubts. The extent of the achievement by Davidson and the team cannot be underestimated. To finish 8th despite Davidson having the third highest points per game of current managers shows how much of a mess our Dutch friends left. Will probably divide opinion but, for me, I think Davidson saving us from relegation eclipses Coyle getting us promoted.

We can only finish 5th or 6th as Pars play Ayr so both can't overtake us.
I'm not convinced our players will give a shit about finishing 5th or 6th to be honest unless there is some sort of bonus on offer for finishing top 5 . Going by the pre match interview with Dougie, we have a few out too.
Comfortable home win tonight for Invernes.
That's ok, we've got this

Airdrie will definitely rest the majority of starters, the likes of Gallagher's, a Murray Aiken, McCabe himself, ATS , Dunlop will probably play, weakened yes but still decent players..
I have found our 2 home games against QP were very tight games which could have went either way, a little surprised you have ended up at the wrong end of the league....
The player who impressed me most was the big RB from Celtic, McPherson is he one of the reasons for your drop off, he was quality..
Difficult to pinpoint (for me) but middle to bottom (excel Arbroath) of the league has been very tight - one game to go and we can still finish anywhere from 7th to 9th. The Dutch duo left us in a real mess and we lack squad depth meaning injuries can give us a problem. Not sure about the loss of McPherson but losing Thomas for 3wks seems to have been huge but then we can play badly with him in the team so who knows.

Not the worst position to be in. Airdrie already secured fourth and third requiring; Airdrie victory, Partick loss, turn around 10 goal shortfall. Not impossible but hopefully Airdrie see going for it as too much of a risk at this stage and will now focus on the play-offs by resting their key players. Also Morton have still to secure 5th with Dunfermline or Ayr able to catch them - hopefully they will be up for the Inverness game.
Always liked Morton ........

He wouldn’t sign for us and a lot of our fans wouldn’t be happy with it.
But I think it would be a laugh, so I’m voting yes.
Assuming results go our way today (looking at last night) we're gonna need a big favour from you next week to stay up. Am sure we got him on a 3 year deal with a view to selling him at some point so if you have the cash .......

Of course I'm cherry picking, but we've one point and no goals from the last four games. Davidson had a good start, and it's hopefully, probably enough to have saved us from relegation for which I am thankful, and there's no argument that over the course he's bettered Veldman. But one point and no goals from the last four games... And let's not forget that Veldman was the Championship's August manager of the month.
Yep, the last 4 games are a worry. Veldman will definitely be remembered but doubt his manager of the month award will be the reason .

Doesn't change the fact that Davidson's currently doing no better a job with a stronger squad.
Granted the squad is stronger however still no depth but not sure I agree Davidson is doing no better a job. Veldman only managed 13pts from 14 games (PPG - 0.93) whereas Davidson currently has 20pts from 15 games (PPG - 1.33). Although still not great Davidson's points per game are over 40% better than Veldman from a similar number of games. I realise that points per game is compounded by numerous ifs, buts and maybes, however over 36 games this difference would likely have seen us safe already being that it equates to an additional 14pts.

I'd guess you had to make concessions to get him in the first place, tbh. There was top flight interest.
Would assume we agreed 3 year contract to benefit from selling him on at a profit. As I recall Ayr and us were the main front runners.

There's zero chance Paton stays with Queens Park if they're relegated, I wouldn't be stunned if he moved this Summer even if they stay up.
You may be right but his contract runs till June '26 so we'll be due a decent fee.

Here’s one to ponder. How do we think Veldman would have got on this season if he had Sheridan, Wilson and Welsh (plus McKinstry & Scott) from the start?
Doubt Veldman would have the contacts to have had any of the first three on his radar. I am in no doubt that his stubbornness and ridiculous tactics would have had us relegated already.

Think it would be good for Dunfermline if they took their frustration from today out on Inverness next week ................... please !

Unfortunately his injury record for us wasn't much better so would doubt it's likely to improve. For me, he went down to easily and, if I'm honest, couldn't hit a barn door. That said, did love seeing him at QP.
