  1. This front three pushing high up the park is causing all sorts of problems, hopefully we'll get a few more goals from it.
  2. That's terrible news, an absolute stick on starter, plus a top defender imo. Hopefully, he'll be ahead of schedule and fit enough by the middle of June. I'd certainly still take him along, for the knockout stages anyway.
  3. It was a 433, with White coming a bit deeper to win high balls and link with midfield & attack. Loturi (14) had a fantastic 1st half, credit where it's due, I'm usually quite critical of him but he seemed to thrive with the extra responsibility with Dhanda missing. IMO Jenks was our worst player, continually letting midfield runners go past him, no surprises when Jenks was the first player hooked by Cowie.
  4. That's where we're all at tbh. The 1st half against Livi on Saturday was very promising, nice crisp passing and a clear "style" to how we looked to play. With Livi making it 2-1 so early in the 2nd half (imo it shouldn't have counted, as Obileye was clearly offside) all style went out the window and the match turned into a classic hoofball match, as so many of our Livi games are. Hopefully County revert back to the 1st half showing again.
  5. Expectations are very low but as a fan of a non glory hunter club, that can be said most weekends. I'll be there as usual. I'm glad that DA and his toxic environment have left us, & hopeful that former Dingwall Academy lad Don, can help deliver a welcome 3 points. 2-1, Murray & Harmon to score for County.
  6. The one where he said it went sideways, when it clearly bounced forward. Crazy decision.
  7. It's been spoken about a bit recently, Baldwin I believe was in a similar situation. Not sure if he requires an op though.
  8. Laidlaw has an injury, as reported, that's why we've recalled Logan Ross so allow us to have a reserve keeper on the bench today. Also, there's nothing wrong with Laidlaw having some competition. Imo he's had good games/saves but also his distribution at times has been awful and cost us points from winning positions, especially the Motherwell game.
  9. That holding midfield is very thin on the ground. Is Callachan expected to return, I've never heard any word of it. Loturi isn't good enough and needs to be higher up the field if on the field at all, as imo he's a liability as a deep midfielder.
  10. Absolutely shocking performance from County. The ball is like a hot potato, no one willing or able to string 4 or 5 passes together. This has Livi win written all over it.
  11. How was that EVER called as an offside & why did it take so long to give an obvious goal.
  12. Huge game for both sides, obviously both want 3 points but NOT losing is vital for County. County lost but performed well on Saturday, but we've been unable to string to decent performances together all season, now would be a good time
  13. No hard feelings from me, he's definitely leaving in the summer and he's been a great player for us. He's earned the bumper new contract that I'm sure he's been offered. As I'd said above I heard figures that clubs in the Midlands/North West of England were offering him so if Hearts can better that, then fair play to them.
  14. Unless they've come back in with a hugely improved offer I highly doubt it. He rejected them last week as the offers from England were far better packages.
  15. Must admit, my outrage with DA has subsided and after a few chats I'm now of the belief that our players need to buckle down and dig themselves/ourselves out of this league position. There's too many rumours of players not liking DA's training sessions as they're too hard, rumours of players wanting to just walk away because there's an easier option to sign for another club (looking at you Kyle Turner, you toerag) We're in a relegation battle due to silly mistakes and red cards, throwing away points from winning positions, Motherwell & Hearts spring to mind, both with 2 goal leads. We've had plenty games where we've battered teams yet failed to score, the players NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, for their lapses in concentration, listen to the coaching & work HARDER. We've 7 matches between now and the end of February. At home to St J, Livi & St Mirren, tough but surely ALL winnable. 4 away games Livi on Tuesday, then Motherwell, Rangers & Dundee. Again, there's surely points to be targeted within those too.
