  1. Angie, Kennedy, Strachan. Dream team. This should end well!
  2. With every crises, comes an opportunity. Western economies already on the downward pre Covid due to failed government policies and QE the order of the day. Covid a good cover of shifting blame and YES Joe public WILL pay the price. A surge in unemployment when furlough ends and getting rid of the dead wood hiding in WFH. Big opportunity for employers too in shaving their overhead. Then watch interest rates soar through next year. The Fed have ran out of paper they've printed that much. Dollar on the way out and the next crash on the way in, but no worries the big Yank PEI's will save (rape) us. NHS England looking ripe for a scalping. Just as well wee Nicola is in charge up here.
  3. The new cases include those who have been vaxxed, so they are also catching it and spreading it. Vaxxing is NOT the panacea as the so called experts are telling us and many obviously not listening.
  4. Vaxxing is NOT the panacea as the so called experts have warned us. 3 waves in 16 months. It's not seasonal. First generation vaccines won't stem the tide against ever changing variants and at some point will be rendered impotent and we're behind the eight ball again due to the short cycle nature of Covid variants. Foreign travel is the single biggest threat of new variants overwhelming a country and ours the worst of it with the court jester in charge. Just look around Europe. Hope the uber stauch enjoy their much needed holidays in shiteholes like Turkey and bringing back new varients. I'm sure they will be proud.
  5. It is NOT all that you are saying. The next time I see social distancing in public spaces will be a first, far less the c***s that refuse to wear a mask which was poorly policed by all.
  6. Lot to agree with in there, although the way Boris is performing, he'd make even me look like Einstein, far less Nicola. Bit of a shit show and influencers and so called experts alike all pulling in different directions, so what chance the ordinary public? The spread is among both vaxxed and non vaxxed individuals. There is still much the Government and experts don't know about this virus and its long term consequences, including from the vaccines and we are all just Guinea pigs. What I fail to understand is why Westminster in particular are intent on undermining themselves with all the u turns. If nothing else we need confidence in government handling this competently and its been far from that. Now only today we hear talk of a fourth wave, so how the f**k is anyone supposed to have confidence in freedom day, knowing that the same people are now telling them of a fourth wave. How many more waves and it isn't even seasonal like flu!? Every chance the day will come that there is a variant that renders our vaccines impotent. That is my concern. I said early in the pandemic that government weren't telling us something. I'm beginning to wonder if I was right. They can't cause panic of course, but the haphazard way they are going about things, they might as well. I can safely say this chaos will be with us for some time, continuing to be in and out of lockdown, with varying restrictions. Also, people need to look beyond this first generation of vaccines, as its improbable they will hold back the tide of variants and there will come a time when they will be rendered impotent. New will be developed, but sadly the evolution of this virus is not seasonal like flu, in having 3 waves in 16 months and now told a fourth inevitable. Those are short times frames by which to develop new vaccines and we may end up behind the curve just like in the first two waves. 150k deaths later! Too many unknowns, too many contradictions, too much division and too much fear out there to play fast and loose like Boris, only for him to do u turns. Little confidence in government and little confidence in this virus being competently managed as gas been the MO and as we still ignore the millions sitting with undiagnosed or untreated life threatening condition, far less long Covid itself, with no plan in place to recover a health service that was already under resourced pre Covid. Haven't a clue where we all end up with this and at best it's trust your own instincts and hope to f**k someone in government know wtf they are doing and have at least a bit of a conscience.
  7. You'd need to be living under tinfoil not to. Then again, for you, who knows?! Good to see he fits in with the brand though. The more damage he does to the crest the better, but I'm sure Kennedy and Strachan will sort it.
  8. Any yet you also take the huff and complain of any banter in the football threads. Or would you prefer reasoned debate on the football threads, which would be rather novel when two fans can't agree on shit. Seems to me the moaners are indeed the sensitive huffy mentalists who hate being wrong and can't handle the banter. Irony overload.
  9. Government is not about doing their bit and moving on ffs! The most basic duty of a government is to protect its people from both internal and external forces at all levels in all aspects and that includes public health. There is no prosperity in a sick society and even Boris reinforced that line at the first lockdown. Informed decision making and balance in that is all that is needed. What price on human life? A holiday to some shitehole in Turkey, because well I need one?! Ignoring the evidence is suicide as much as it is criminal. Freedom dates are only but targets and not because I'll do it because I said I would. That would be the act of a moron, so I give you Boris. In the space of 24 hours we had Pfizer saying we need boosters in winter and the US President saying no we don't. Uncertainty just doesn't come greater than this. I'm not against opening up, but only with mitigation in place and the data showing we have a chance of things improving. There is far too little being said or planned for the future and that should set alarm bells ringing.
  10. The toxin that is politics has never been at such a low bar in the UK. Boris is the good news guy. The poor man's Trump in the UK You know things are bad, when in spite of the evidence the deniars will vote en mass for the clown with the good news and hollow promises. Substance no longer a prerequisite. I would hazard to guess that those screaming for freedom are the ones with the big mortgages and a lifestyle to protect at all costs. Prepared to sacrifice zilch and are seen to be the selfish b*****ds that they are and have no desire to think anything through, other than the size of their wallet. We saw it from them early in the pandemic last March. I understand their concern, albeit their moral compass is questionable. 150k deaths later!!!! They got it wrong then and are still getting it wrong now. God help their Grannies! Covid 19 and all the pills, potions and vaccines remain novel in the response to it. There remains too many unknowns that the medicos and scientists attest, but some do insist on knowing better. Discretion is the better part of valor in Covid. Yes people do die, but to needlessly die through wanton greed and ignorance is another matter entirely. According to the polls, public opinion is now against freedom days, which of course is another contradiction by the PM when he swore blind he would follow the data and not the dates. To add, there remains no road map or transparent contingency if this worsens. No recovery plan for long Covid or the millions who remain undiagnosed or untreated for life threatening illness, the 5 million backlog, but hey, let's have freedom day. Sorted, right?!! You dont know what you don't know, as ignorance is weaponised by the selfish minions.
  11. It appears the court jester remains above criticism for some. Only 150k deaths and the economy also in the shitter. The lad is doing well, right?!
  12. The main point is, Covid 19 remains a novel virus which we still know little about and the long term effects of both it and the vaccines. People obviously have concerns as we witness a third wave in 16 months. The big question is will there be more and more variants that put us at serious risk? There will be more variants but their potency is the big question and government are silent on this. An unknown at this point, but in risk analysis, unknowns are cause for the highest risk ranking. Another problem is in the decision making of government, in the pendulum continually swinging back and forth on whim in an ah but I said I would, so I'm proceeding in spite of the evidence against it, then only to change it later. Boris has done more double back flips than an Olympic gymnast. No surprise the public are losing confidence in such a shit show. You couldn't believe a word that comes out of government mouths and as for PHE, they make Geobbles look like a rank amateur in propaganda. It's common sense to move forward cautiously and yes we all have to live with it, but government need to to be seen as credible leaders with integrity and not behaving like court jesters and hypocritical lying b*****ds. No wonder MSM are exploiting this big weakness of government, but they can't be forgiven for some quite alarmist headlines.
  13. Another story runningi n the Record on the Thumb's next door neighbor raising a police complaint on his alleged stalking and taking pictures on behalf of a third party. Her home was also the subject of an arson attack by those and for reasons unknown. Her business premises was also targeted in s ram raid. A complaint has also been made to the Club and an interdict applied for. Who the f**k knows where all this is leading, but the crack in the Hoopy crest is widening and major questions need answering.
  14. Under 18 year old hospitalisations have reached their highest level yet leaving parents in fear, whilst the biggest jump in numbers is in the 25 - 44 age group. A worrying sign and hopefully they have peaked. Meanwhile PHE getting slated for announcing lies that double dose vaccines offer full protection in blood cancer patients, when there is no evidence that they do. Whitty urged to publicly correct this dysinformation. Opinion polls havs Boris getting kippered for his "faith in the public to do the right thing", as he abdicates his responsibility for protecting public health amid surging cases. Boris still riding a shit show and tbh, Scotland not far behind. The public just losing all confidence in the government over Covid. You'd need to be a moron to discard restrictions when infection levels are at highest levels since January and worse in some groups. This is simple, whilst the overall effect is less than before, the rise in numbers still result in more serious illness and death than otherwise would be and it appears the majority of the population are against freedom day. Expecting a back flip from Boris. Up here with Nicola a few weeks behind, she will no doubt continue with the more cautious approach and gain political mileage of Boris's abdication in this. However, no respite for the WFH skivers, as the word is, get your erse back to work. Still plenty of contradiction and confusion in it all and it remains the car crash it always has been, being led by the supercilious c**t residing in No. 10.
  15. Every c**t burnt except the corpse. Hope its OK.
  16. I doubt government want them, but the problem is if the EU and further a field want them, then we're forced to follow suit.
  17. From the Companies.... CBI boss Dame Carolyn - who speaks for 200,000 firms - said "getting people back into the office needs to be as big a priority for the Government as the return of pupils were to school." Thing is, British workers compared to those in the East, tend to be unproductive b*****ds and not to be trusted. Nothing new there of course. The daily shopping trips are numbered.
  18. From the Record. You just couldn't make this shite up. Billy Connolly territory..... "An investigation has been launched after a fire broke out at a crematorium during a funeral. Three fire crews were called to a blaze in the basement of Linn Crematorium in Glasgow’s Castlemilk area and two members of staff were treated by paramedics following the incident last month. It’s understood the fire broke out after the casket had been lowered and away from the view of mourners."
  19. Even Nicola is giving up on it. She only used leaving as an excuse to force another ref and to vote catch. However with Boris in charge she doesn't need any excuses. I think most would gladly go indy to get away from that idiot.
  20. Plent of jaw, but prove it! You want to know how many migrants are drawing benefits and in social housing? Google it. Also housing priority is a fact. Crime wave in human trafficking, child prostitution and drug dealing, rapes and murder by migrants, fact! I'm all for immigration when there is a need in skill shortages. Migration must be managed and controlled without a burden on the rest of society. Unless your a moron of course. We have enough unemployment, benefit cheats and crime with our own, without migrants increasing the burden. Now go tell it to the next murder victims family to die at the hand of a migrant. We've left the EU. Get over it.
  21. We're out. Get over it. Enough scroungers here without economic migrants raping us.
  22. An accession state yah fanny. Given free movement around the EU without a visa, but not entitled to work. Favourite destination the UK. Now we're out, thank f**k they have become the largest stowaways caught at UK ports. Your denial is amusing right enough.
