  1. Nicola now also looking to postpone Level 0 date. Meanwhile down south, the red tops running with Freedom date would be a disaster, with things like 100,000 infections a day would lead to vaccine resistent strains and so on. This circus goes on. Differences between so called experts, the fear mongering and all leading to the public losing confidence in government. Just nothing changes. Good news on the Monday and back peddling the rest of the week. A national disgrace. c***s are seriously needing sacked.
  2. Untrue. Due to both increase in patients and staff absences due to isolation.
  3. This remains mental stuff. Freedom on July 19, but with a threat of reintroducing restrictions in winter and the CMO giving it the threat, that it won't mean less illness or death, but just kicking the can down the road a bit. Are these c***s for real? These c***s will have done the modelling, but will never reveal the best or worst case scenarios for whatever the agenda. They will either be, we are over the worst and the future is bright, but we can't tell any c**t, because we want to frighten the shit out of them and keep them under control, or, the forecasts are seriously bad and we simply can't tell any c**t, because we would need to again delay freedom day and f**k the economy. Their communications all the way through this has been shit and all it does is provoke further uncertainty, which doesn't help the economy or mental health. Despite their rhetoric, they trust not the public, nor themselves.
  4. It is illegal to deny any person primary care. If banned by their regular GP they get put on a three month rota with other GP practices. They also have the right of appeal. Had a chuckle when I witnessed a patient/receptionist altercation whilst sitting waiting for my turn. It was a Friday aft and the patient turns up with a very large bag of meds from the chemist. However one of the scripts was for the wrong meds and he needed a new script now, because he had no meds of that type and couldn't do without them until Monday. Fat b*****d boulder on the shooder receptionist said the rule for scripts was 48 hours, so he would have to wait until Monday. The patient was not abusive nor raised his voice, just polite, but asked that she put it to the GP. She raised her voice and giving it the attitude and tried to say this poor c**t was being aggressive. On and on it went with her raising her voice even more, as the guy continued quietly and politely with his request. The GP comes walking along the corridor asking what's all the noise and immediately the receptionist turns on the water works. This poor guy was getting stitched up by a c**t. I was left sitting under a mushroom for another half hour and the GP re emerges and calls me in. He apologises for the wait and asks me about what went on. So I simply bubbled the bitch big time and that she had been at it for years and would give a written witness statement to that effect. To add my GP is best mates with my young cuz who is also a GP and we all meet up from time to time socially, so he knew I wasn't lying. Upshot of it, she was sacked for putting the patient at risk with her refusal and her aggressive manner. I don't really do jobsworth c***s hiding behind glass and procedure, trying to turn you over just because they think they can. The lesson is, not all in the NHS are saints and some of the biggest c***s you are ever likely to meet. No different from any other part of the population.
  5. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1459242/chris-whitty-covid-UK-lockdown-end-july-19-vaccine-update-boris-johnson-freedom-day From the Express. I can't believe that useless, spineless lackie Whitty just said this.... Joining Mr Johnson from Downing Street yesterday, Professor Whitty acknowledged while some restrictions will always be better than none, they have to be released at some point. He said: "At a certain point, you move to the situation where instead of actually averting hospitalisations and deaths, you move over to just delaying them. "So you're not actually changing the number of people who will go to hospital or die, you may change when they happen." So there we have it! A serious balancing act of course. Now I have to agree better to do it now than in winter, but would still have preferred masking to be mandatory. However, why the need to say that quoted in the two paragraphs?! Absolutely unnecessary, particularly when he goes on to say in the article about the uncertainty of it all. Covid remains project fear and I fear this government continue with the trainwreck that its always been and a not so cloaked warning that we are getting fucked over at Xmas yet again. As for stats, we'll here some I made earlier, so get fucking isolating. As an aside but not unrelated, daughter phones me to say, GP's given new guidelines on referrals and NHS Consultants to only offer face to face appointments if absolutely necessary, also under a new set of guidelines. This is nothing but kicking the can down the road with those who have serious conditions and many will succumb as a consequence. The NHS is already creaking at the seams. Telephone consultation s only a box ticking exercise in making up stats that the log jam is being cleared, when in reality it's not. Fucking criminal.
  6. Our absence rate is down 72% since WFH became the standard another huge plus. Not a true comparison when most are posting on here all day bleating on about how much WFH is better, when they're supposed to be working. Aye, nay fucking wonder it's better.
  7. Furlough. And watch the outcry as employers lay off many. Only to find later cheaper migrant workers have taken their place. An opportunity for businesses to reduce overheads. Already happening, along with many of the lower paid sector workers not returning as their choice.
  8. You shrinking violets love dishing it out, but can't handle getting it back. Going by your social media soundings, 55 has destroyed you lot. Can't say I'm unhappy with that. Then you give the Thumb a new contract. Oops. Angie not such a good judge of character then? Kennedy still hovering like a bad smell. Desperation r us. A new season, another title to look forward to. What's not to like? I take it the banter years are over now it's you lot in the shitter? A wee shame so it is. Such is the circle of life.
  9. What a load of rhetorical shite. The same tits making the decisions. The learning is not there. Now come back to me when government tell us the consequences of their decision. NO modelling and the plan going forward is......... We migh have more restrictions later, because????? Ah but.......... We'll hought through, right?! Now its welcome to hear of Freedom day after what the country has been through, but what s cost to human life, when it could have been so different if government had prepared and done the right thing. The problem now is, we go back to a wing and a prayer and hope for the best. It's always fine when it's someone else who croaks and not your own. Yes we have to balance public health with the economy, but they elude to provide the argument in the decision making. It's simple, Boris capitulated owing to the pressure from those within his own party and Tory donors, otherwise the logic, the explanation and the consequences could have been made transparent. It may have also been thought through, but with consequences that great they couldn't be divulged and choose to live with the probable collateral damage. Why the rush to play fast and loose with the borders and foreign travel, which had been a feature of his throughout this shit show? The elephant in the room when it comes to spread and new variants? Boris is a weak as piss babbling balloon, who does not serve his populus well and a bigger danger to public health than the virus itself as it's proven. Now lastly, he's shouting "Freedom" more than Nicola, but just where is that recovery plan for the five million plus backlog awaiting treatment? Who's speaking for those with undiagnosed or untreated cancer and the many other life threatening illness that have been neglected during his shit show, because it certainly ain't him. No fucking wonder the Nats and indy are so popular up here with that shower of corrupt incompetent c***s in Westminster in power.
  10. No one is patting their backs. We had little to test them with in the beginning. If Boris had fully prepared the UK as he was warned, closed the borders and much more deaths by order of magnitude would have been miniscule by comparison. It was a shit show. No point in the pissing contest with 150k dead.
  11. Well he is the PM of the UK, so I suppose you don't get the daft b*****d medal, reserved for Tory voters.
  12. Trying to cut through all the shite and the pissing contest between Nats and unionists need to end. From the economy to public health, its serving no one well. Nicola for all her faults, has been by far, the more astute and professional through this crises. She IS a good politician. Even the English rate her above Boris. I think even Boris himself would admit, he's not cut out for it. All about doing the right thing and getting the balance right. It is people's lives we are dealing with here after all. Nicola will have little option but to follow England, as furlough ends as that cash is controlled by Westminster. This is where Nicola has her hands tied behind her back, because if she and experts, including those from down south are at odds with Westminster, there is f**k all she can do about it. In the end only time will tell who has taken the correct path. In the meantime, an end to the histrionics, the innuendo, contradictions and downright lies would be in order. We deserve nothing less. MSM and social media don't help. Doing the right thing should not be based on a political allegiance.
  13. WTF?! Didn't this new Angie fella just give the Thumb a new contract as well? If there is evidence, then let's see if Angie is a man of principle or not. Hard club to raise standards at right enough if last season is anything to go by. Probably dodged a bullet if they sack him as the guy is just a rat and can't be trusted. Hope the victim is OK.
  14. The world was warned on Jan 28 by WHO that the pandemic was on the way and for governments to prepare. It was for Westminster to take the lead and they did nothing. This was a matter of national security far less public health. The UK government is responsible for border control, the biggest defence against the virus and what did we do? That's right, left them open. Then there was the PPE issues, ventilators and so on, far less that the NHS across the UK pre Covid was already under resourced and in crises. Care home deployment was at Westminster behest (but of course the front line Docs signed off on it) and stupidly Nicola followed suit. Its one thing to laugh at a court jester, but to follow him is suicide, as we all found out. Our Covid response was a train wreck, but Nicola did have the benefit of hindsight in being three weeks behind England on the spread and on the whole used it well. Meanwhile all we heard and seen from Blojo the court jester, was contradictions, innuendo and downright lies. The one thing we got right was being in early on the vaccines and dread to think the statistics of we hadn't, considering we already had one of the worst statistics on the planet. Much to be learned for sure, but learning is what we on the West are poor at, being the arrogant self entitled bunch that we are. Sovereign debt pretty much at unsustainable levels and we have yet to see or experience the consequences of that and it won't be pretty.
  15. I see the Orcs on Kerryfail are still unhappy with their lot. New top manager in the door from Japan. Two top players brought in that no one has heard of. All set up for the CL qualifiers, not. Just what's not to like? Just what is wrong with these people? Know your place and be happy. Life's too short.
  16. Great to hear that the restrictions are at last going, but nothing mentioned about a recovery programme for the five million backlog on NHS waiting lists and what is to be done with the back log of cancer sufferers and all those suffering from other life threatening illnesses that have missed out on diagnostics and treatment and every day more with symptoms needing diagnosed and treated. NHS remains under resourced and in crises and this needs challenged and rectified as a matter of urgency or sufferers will simply and needlessly succumb to their illness. The shit show that was the management of Covid and the damming statistics, is only part of the picture. Covid is not going away, but at least at this point in time fatalities and serious illness from it has reduced to manageable levels, but what of the masses suffering from other life threatening illness.? A few not so comforting words over a telephone will sort it right?! For many, without a coherent and effective plan to deal with it, this winter will be little better than the last. No surprises that government are staying stoom on the issue both north and south of the border. They couldn't manage a corner shop.
  17. Tax write offs. July 19, the rules have gone. Nowhere to hide. Give it six months and it could well be Giro time.
  18. Of course not all slackers, just quite a few. Aren't you supposed to be working?
  19. Very intelligent reply. Are you at work?
  20. Some amount of desperados determined to hang on to their freeloading lifestyle, so thank f**k for the country its coming to an end.
  21. As said, I do NOT run the business, just own it, but you being a sheep and in denial like the rest of the haters, so don't let the facts get in the way of a good agenda. No wonder your teams shit.
