Just when you think you can't hate these c***s even more...........

There isn't enough hate in the world to cover that lot.

This is utterly pathetic. It's a pity there isn't a club equivalent charge of bringing the game into disrepute. Mind you the SFA/SPFL wouldn't use it against their Ibrox masters anyway I suppose.

For the defeatists out there, if Sweden can do it - why can't we?

Much as I want rid of it the difference is they're not installing it at all. We have a bunch of clowns that have forked out big (by our standards) money to put it in and their egos won't allow to them to take a financial hit as well as admit they were wrong. Prevention is always better than cure.

@Div The drawback to ignoring someone on here is obviously their posts still appear when they are quoted by others. I've seen on other forums that this doesn't happen and the 'you've chosen to ignore etc etc' message appears in the requote instead of the original post. Is there any chance of that facility being added here? It'd be a Godsend at times! Cheers.

I'm beginning to think the answer could be no...

  4. I see when you go into the tables and fixtures sections on the BBC website only Dundee United are given a club badge outside of the Premiership clubs. All other clubs have a grey shield while in England every club as far down as National league has their's shown. It's only National League North /South where they're not shown.

Not sure if it's a Glasgow or London/Salford issue but it's just another example of the 'couldn't give a f*ck' attitude by the lot of them.

You think a dramatic cup semi like that would get noticed? Think again.

Just watched the sports bulletin in BBC Breakfast. Practically wetting themselves over extended coverage of a one-goal English Cup semi. Then more gushing over the Moneybags Premiership with interviews etc. Then a brisk mention of the Scottish semi where we saw the winning penalty  and nothing else, moving swiftly on to extended, lovingly-described coverage of England's women's rugby mismatch v Ireland.

They really don't care any more, do they?

    Any more?

Not sure why you think anyone would or should be interested.

We've got BBC Scotland for our stuff. Nobody down south gives a f**k about the Scottish Cup, and very few people could even tell you who is playing in the semis.

    No point pretending it's news.

Yep. There are no Scots living in England of course. Sounds like you work for the BBC.

Sorry to post an unrelated question, I don't know where else to ask it.

This is the first time I have heard of Oriam.

I've searched for it and now know about it, but where did the name come from?

    https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/14695576.inside-oriam-new-centre-sporting-excellence-removes-excuses-scotland-equation/

ORIAM sounds like a team name from Only Connect or the tag of the latest You Tube sensation. Instead the hope is it will become the finishing school for Scotland’s future Olympians, Six Nations champions and World Cup footballers. The title, dreamt up by focus groups and marketing types, may split opinion – one rather convoluted explanation is that it can be broken down as “I am gold” using the Gaelic word for said precious metal – but the derivation of the name is not hugely significant. This, after all, is about evolution, not etymology.

I take it the 'We can't show games live at the same time as when there's Champions League on' pish has been chucked now?  Was it ever a thing, or am I imagining it?

Is it not something like you can't schedule fixtures for the same time as CL fixtures but you can show it if it's had to be rescheduled like this one. That seems a daft enough reason for UEFA to have come up with it so could be right.

Well, theres no other reason to tred the road they have as a public broadcaster other than management think its a good idea to boost listening figures.......

That's different from going through the process you mentioned. It's the BBC. They'll do what they want.

Sportsound has become a dumbed down magazine show akin to Superscoreboard.

Im sure they've done their focus groups who all agree this is what the public want.

But listening to Mikey Stewart disgreeing with whatever anyone else says is extremely tiresome and a total turn off.

Quality public broadcasting, it is not....

    What makes you think that?

    McCoist is a c**t.

He proved his 'likeable cheeky lad' persona was a front when he became Sevco manager, with the pish about demanding to know 'who was on the panel' a massive giveaway.

He's either a huge bigot or a huge bigot apologist.

Spot on. He grew up choosing to support Rangers when their anti-catholic policies were rife and one of his strops when Rangers died was demanding the club needed to survive and protect its songs and traditions. He is a low life bigot that has managed to manipulate his image through the Scottish succulent lamb media full of his bigot mates that see nothing wrong with sectarianism and the English lot that only see his manufactured cheeky chappie image supposedly loved by all north of the border. He is indeed a total and utter c*nt.

During Warnock’s eight games in charge, a fragile group of players shipped 14 goals. Five came in two home games against Motherwell and Hibernian, their only clean sheet a Scottish Cup win over non-league Bonnyrigg Rose.

I used 12ft ladder to get passed the paywall.

I stopped using 12ft ladder as it looked like most publications had found a way of blocking it so the paywalls remained. Maybe they've updated it as it certainly works on that piece. Shall give it another shot.

We're you watching the Leeds v Hull game?

Came to see if this was mentioned. The usual minutes applause procedure before kick off for the two fans murdered in Turkey then the game gets stopped in the 24th minute for another round of applause by everyone again. Never seen a double tribute for the same reason in a match before.
