I've no idea how the finances are, so no idea if we can sign any better players for next season!
I hope so, as I want to go to watch meaningful games that we've a chance to win!
I've missed that this year!
Had heard a player had been signed from Broxburn, perhaps some of the loan players might be available if not still under contract (Think Malek & Finlay are).
Might be a bit of a free for all.

Yup, wind picking up.

Thoughts Queens did OK first half but a real lack of confidence in front of goal always wanting that extra touch rather than taking shot first time, several players were guilty of this. Started second half strongly too.
Suspect the 8 saves the Edinburgh keeper made had something to do with that.

Any news about the abandoned Montrose game, will fans who were there be entitled to get into the restage, someone mentioned if abandoned before half-time time we would be?
I’m not really wanting to write off the £40 I paid for the 3 of us for absolutely nil entertainment, other than watching a bag of about 5 balls take off in the wind across the running track, that was quite something.

At least it’s not being played on a ploughed field this year

Nah i don't think so. I think it will be tight but we can do enough. For all that Annan have found a bit of form they still have ground to make up.
Think we need to win 2 out of the 3 remaining home games and pick up another 3 or 4 points away. If we can't win away at Edinburgh then we deserve all we get.
If we do that it means Annan need 14 points out of 18 which seems unlikely.
All in our hands.
You have the worst fixture against Edinburgh, last home league 1 fixture with nothing to play for

Sorry if I've missed this, have the fixture dates been published anywhere?

Bit disappointed with the final score yesterday. 2 pens and 2 goals following defensive errors. At least looking to keep going for the full game and Mo worth his goal at the end.

It's probably not much comfort, but I was impressed by the effort and fight to the final whistle attitude of your young side at Stirling. Bad enough for that to happen to young players in league 2, but league 1 is a rough baptism for first team football. Still, arguably better happening when it did and giving them to chance to gel as a team and grow in experience, than getting thrown in at the start of a league 2 campaign. Good luck to City next season, I hope the youngsters will have come on enough to do well by then.
Suspect the loan players' contracts are up so they should be giving it 100% to be visible to the market.

I don't think you'll find any City fans looking for sympathy or disagree with you on the spending and relegation. We're just glad to still have a team to support after everything that's happened over the past year.
As with most of these things it's the fans that suffer for mismanagement

1-1 and into the 93rd minute City get a penalty that wasn't a foul and was outside the box...

Well we are 16/1 to win today - as long as we play well in preparation for League 2 that’s all I can ask for really - also trying out the new Citizens Lounge today for a pre match drinky
1 goal in 5 games (?) Up against it

If we are unbeaten I would start our strongest 11, an invincible season is history making and never likely to be repeated. I’d try and get the game won and then as you say bring players on that need an appearance for a medal, the full squad has contributed and it wouldn’t be nice if any of them missed out.
I believe a club can buy additional medals at their own cost if players don't meet the appearance criteria

It wasn't meant to be a criticism of Edinburgh , genuinely interested to see how many Hamilton fans were there yesterday and to do that I need to know how many Edinburgh fans were there . Good luck for the rest of the season and in the future.

Apparently we had more shots on target than Accies.
Little wins and all that!
Keeper was itching to come up for that last corner

Even though we won, that was almost a new low. They were by far the better team in the second half. To make it worse, not one of their players has a Wikipedia entry!
Rankin is safe according to Serif after the match. Safe...a side that had no creativity and he left both Smith and Hastie on the bench. He is clueless. Sadly it seems Serif is too.
Did you have a shot on target the second half?

Fortheringham and Newman in Scotland u21 squad, so (will probably) miss the ICT game on 23rd.
Could a badly timed Walton injury lead to a re-appearance of 'you-know-who'?
Kai would be a miss too, although not been firing on all cylinders lately.
(Side note, could we ask for a postponement at all?)
Scotland only seem to be playing Thursday so surely United tell him to make himself available Saturday.
