I can remember jim goodwin using wee kev a bit sparingly too , but as said Brian rice took it to another level,
Regarding the EC fans who were attacked my sympathies and best wishes , i hope the club can do something about it and maybe we can help in identifying the little scrotes if at all possible and having a word so to speak , as usual this will cost the club in some way and tarnish the real alloa fans , Looking back i think in consolation to Edinburgh they can still hurt teams if they play as they did against us and hopefully sneak some points against our rivals .
5 players or so brought straight into the team, some hadn’t even trained I believe. Hopefully see an improvement before going to Annan with a couple of weeks under the belt.

The game last night was absolutely fuckin dire, looked like a couple of 12 year old school teams at times.
Worst game I've watched this season, how the feck that teams get paid for that shite is beyond me, all of those players???? should be paying to get a game and also contribute to their fans costs.
Feel better for that?

Edinburgh Gunners stadium behind Murrayfield presumably 'unrealistic'?
Not having a go at you as you have only put this as a suggestion but the sense of entitlement of some football fans towards the Murrayfield stadia is unreal. Privately owned facilities which I doubt the SRU would offer unless serious coin was involved and that’s before even things like markings and branding are looked at.
might as well suggest a ground share at ER or Tynecastle.

There might be more to it than I know but surely ground sharing AP with Spartans would have been a better plan?
I don’t believe there are any slots available that they could use.

We listed 19 vs inverness, our deepest bench so far, the only possible addition to that would be wighton who nobody knows why he was missing from that squad.
Of those 19, 3 are u18 players and one is a reserve keeper with 1 senior appearance, that game being in this diddy cup.
A pars mate I work with said things were tight, no much flexibility there

For some unknown reason I will be going to this, maybe it’s because I wasn’t at the league game, maybe it’s because I live a sad pathetic life and don’t have anything better to do or maybe I’m certifiably insane, not sure but the latter 2 certainly seem more likely.
We’ll also rotate a bit but I guess our ability to do is less than yours.
Don’t you only have about 20 (fit?) players?

United need to stop pissing about at goal kicks. I wouldn’t mind the theatre too much if there was an end product but there’s not.
Also a Walton needs to work his distribution; in the second half in particular when he was playing it short it was mainly to his right whereas McMann is far better than Freeman at bringing the ball forward.
What do you men ‘pissing about’? It’s just a bit of a generic statement

Your goalie spent 12 minutes in the second half just pulling his socks up before taking goal kicks or free kicks.
Its great to get a late equaliser, well deserved for Cudjoe, .
And very slowly moving the ball across the six yard box.
thought I was at the fringe with all the dramatics when players were tackled too.

Newman has looked exceptionally good in training btw and Parish seems to be a decent coach by all accounts.
Feeling a bit more confident about Newman certainly, so much so if we get someone a bit more experienced for cover I'll be happy.
I thought the keepers looked pretty engaged on the clip on the Clubs you tube channel. MB was conspicuous by his absence on it although he was there

Tad embarrassed as a Broxburn fan to have taken 3 points from Haddington when we were spanked. I know rules are rules and everyone has to abide by them but that’s the second time this season we’ve not really deserved anything and taken 3 points in both games.
Double whammy on Hutchie for ineligible players. I knew Haddington had done this but didn’t know who against. Hutchie having lost points for the same misdemeanour against LR lose a further place due to this.

The League has got stronger and better over the years but if anything Dalbeattie have went backwards. Now is just time to reset and go again. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Dalbeattie in the Lowland League over the last 10 seasons. Hopefully see you all soon. Up the Star
I went to Dalbeattie a few weeks ago. Had a great day. Realistically though the LL is not for you at the moment. Hope this gives you a chance to get sorted and be more competitive

Creetown licensed.
This is an interesting example of interpretation what's been said.
I'm sure he said Creetown weren't licensed yet but met licencing criteria. As a result the LL had granted a waiver/concession to allow them to participate in the play off if they win the SoS league.
Don't necessarily agree with everything but I thought it was a good interview and clarified a few points. Worth listening to.

Ironically the best young player I have seen in the Lowland League this season is not eligible to even play for Scotland.
The only time I saw him he got sent off for simulation, somewhat affects one view of a player

If Scotland are to win the next World Cup we need to nurture these young geniuses who play for our two lords and masters.
Players like Zac Lovelace for example

Talking to one of vol players dad. His laddie and a few others were loanees. Asked him if their manager was an ex player. He didn't know but said he thought he was ex edin untd ( watch the back door ) manager. The laddie comes from musselburgh. That's some travelling every 2nd week or so.
Loads of players and loan players have a trek to get to their teams, not sure what the point being made here

Grass parks in March will all be in peak condition of course.
4 pens missed of course from the same team.
Soor grapes, dry yer eyes min, I'd be be sore after being 2 up against 10 men and losing.
If anything wasnt the park, look to your management bringing subs on when ye were in complete control of the game.
Awfy defensive.
Rose thought they had it won after the second goal. The high 5s and smiles from those subs said it all.

He was pretty decent, seems a levelheaded kid, perhaps helped he was with Devine as they had played a lot together at Hearts
