The draw at Dens last night doesn't change all THAT much.

By the time we are next in league action, we'll know the outcome of Dundee's visit to Parkhead and if that results in a defeat for them, then we're going up against Rangers knowing that a (lets be honest, long overdue at this point) positive result against them will put us in a massively strong position for going up to Dundee the following week.

I'm confident that we'll pull a couple of results out of the bag. The week off has probably come at a decent time for us after losing a few players to injury at Parkhead last weekend and we'll hopefully be at 100% for the run in.

I disagree, for once I was hoping for not just a Newco victory, but a pumping for Dundee. 3 points and a big goal difference is VERY different from where we are now, going into the split.
l was too young to go to Europe, the last time we qualified, and we never know when/if the chance will come about again. So to me it’s a big deal. My arse is making buttons, but I’m well used to it being a Buddie. At least it’s not because I’m worried about relegation.

I’m heading up to dens with a huge extension plug and my hairdryer - we will be fine.

Joking aside - the only people I have any sympathy for are Motherwell and their fans - it is shite - but it’s clearly not something we have a huge degree of control over and it can’t be said we haven’t made reasonable attempts to get this on.

Scortish football is all about sporting integrity though - so I’m sure all would agree that demands we don’t cede home advantage to a direct top 6 rival this close to the split as it would put us at a significant sporting disadvantage and would indeed be unprecedented.

You have TOTAL control over it. It’s your pitch!! We’re all getting the same rain, but no problems.

Where did this Olusanya come from?  That's a few goals he has for you now does he not?  How come you never loaned us this one last season?  The Olusanya you loaned us did nothing but dive.

Yeah, sorry mate. You got the original raw version- we’ve got the souped up Steven Robinson one

Feckin’ Franchise AllStar 2012 Revival Show at home today too. Pish. Decisions, decisions. Braehead early for a MacDonalds? Go the backroads over the Erskine Bridge? Call Putin asking him to nuke Govan at 1pm? Fcuk it. Where’s the phone.

It’s not that bad on the M8 when the cheeks are at home. I’ve got to go through the city to get to Paisley and I don’t think I’ve been held up by much when they’re playing. It’s worse when they’re playing us at home.

In short terms, people should be scared to leave the house because of young people of ethnicity inciting violence on any and everyone.

    A complete brainworms moment.

Always knew he was a bit of a twat, but that’s totally out of order. Don’t need that sort of shit on here or anywhere. No big loss if we never hear from him again (in any guise)

The club should be handing out bans to anyone involved in any violence or physical abuse. Hopefully that would act as a deterrent. There's a bigger problem than St Mirren though - and I don't say that to play down what happened or absolve anyone of responsibility.

There's an increase in violence in schools, so there's definitely a societal issue. It's difficult to know exactly what's causing it; rise in poverty/hangover from the pandemic/social media? Groups of teenagers, probably with a bevvy (possibly more) in them, always has the potential for aggro, couple that with seeing endless videos online of other wee dicks causing trouble at games around the country.

I agree entirely. All the club can do is ban anyone causing aggro from the stadium, after that it’s up to the police and wider society.

I did notice at the Dundee game where quite a few jumped over the wall to get to the Dundee fans, that they were allowed to just jump back over and carry on as if nothing happened. It’s this sort of behaviour being allowed to go unpunished inside the stadium that gives them the feeling of being untouchable. At the very least, coming over the wall should see you ejected, even if it just for that game.

  7. I know you are always quite negative, but we went toe to toe with both cheeks recently and it was fine margins that lost us the games. Yes, Killie away and Hearts at home will be tough, but there's no easy games in the premiership. What I’m saying is they are winnable with this squad. I don’t expect we will win them all, of course not, but I’m not scared of getting done over by any of those teams like I used to be. Enjoy it while it lasts Elvis, because I’m sure it won’t be like this forever.

Thanks, missed that. Jonah is signed up until 2025. I think the following are out of contract:

Bolton, Gogic, Dunne, Strain, Bwomono, Flynn, Baccus, Greive, Olusanya, Nahmani.

Looks like there will a good bit more churn than we had last summer.

From that list, I’d offer contracts to Bolton, Gogic, Bwomono  (expecting them to sign), Strain and Bacchus (hoping they sign)
