He offers nothing in terms of experience, he’s a specialist, the kind of person that gets taken on board to add a little something extra. How many of such ‘specialists’ operate as an assistant manager? How many goalkeeping coaches occupy the position? We were initially telt that Broon wid be the assistant manager, but he ends up being team captain - this in itsel is problematic. How can Broon be on the ‘inside’ as team captain, but ‘ootside’ as a no. 2 tae the manager? Nah, this is so nae richt. In my opinion, Russel is offering nothing tae the management o this club.
