  1. As I predicted, the other names I was given are currently in the squad so maybe keeping them quiet jist noo
  2. Agreed, Gallagher is decent/good centre back. I think his recent interview shows he’s had his share o problems since signing - Goodwin will stick with him rest o this season - be very surprised if he’s nae here next season
  3. Dependable, confirmed tae me Glass was gone afore the news was released - he’s itk as far as you can be
  4. Is Langfield a poor or good goalkeeper coach? Surely thats ah that maters? Like top players dinna aye mhak good coaches or managers - same for keepers. Leighton was a wonderful keeper but shit keeper coach
  5. Hearing Goodwin’s clear oot has started - McGeouch, Woods, Marshall and physio - nae real surprises
  6. Any update on the rumours of a covid outbreak - Hayes, Ramsay and maybe Ramirez?
  7. Shortlist- Ross, Goodwin, Knutsen, McCann, Houghton and one other left field candidate - trying tae get Goodwin oar the line - press conference tomorrow lunchtime?
  8. The laziest comment yir likely tae read - ‘living in the past’
  9. Aye, the amount o goals we lost fae corners! The man is a one trick pony, never a number 2. This will be the biggest coaching job he’ll ever have - consultancy gig is his forte.
  10. I agree with a good bit of this. First year was aye gan tae be difficult, nae helped by the ludicrous recruitment aroon the DoF and Head o Recruitment. It’s difficult tae ken fah was behind some of oor signings. But, he needs results tae justify anither season
  11. Nae suggesting he is. My point is that I think Glass’ only saving might be tae have a team o young lads bringing energy and enthusiasm even if results dinna improve that much, at least it would seem tae fit with the ‘development model’. Ojo, Jet, McGeouch, Gallagher and recent games apart, Hayes have offered nithin in terms o the original plan aroon developing a young side. I think folk wid be mair accepting o this being a transition season if that wis the case.
  12. I certainly get mair enjoyment fae Big Match Revisited than Match o the Day. I preferred tae watch the Arbroath game than the Man Utd game on Friday nicht. Sky era fitba dis nithin for me. Then there’s the Dons…I guess the fact I started watching the Dons regularly in the Bonthrone years means I started with the lows and it’s been a rollercoast iver since. I feel that if I was tae give up noo, I’d be giving up on a massive pairt o my ain biography. I do have a dilemma whether I should inflict this on my 7 yr auld loon fah frankly barely tolerates visits tae Pittodrie. Apathetic mair than angry, resigned tae extended frustration and a desire tae share that with ma loon means I’m reed til am deid.
  13. Fair point the last few games, but, he’s had some stinkers
  14. The only wye Glass can possibly survive is if we muddle on getting some sporadic results, maybe a competitive performance on Wednesday and squeeze a win next Seterday. But, he must start playing the younger players - get Ojo, Hayes, even Broon on the bench and start building a side aroon Barron, Mackenzie, Ramsay, McRorie, Bates, Besuijen, Ruth, Duncan…
  15. If Glass gets sacked, could wee Brooner push tae be reunited wi anither o his pals - Kevin Thomson?
  16. Dinna think I’ve asked for him tae be sacked, I’ve jist questioned fit value he brings considering oor great failure is scoring goals, his apparent area of expertise. But, aye, I will admit that since the hail drink driving scenario wi his brother and keeping that quiet fae the club, I think he’s a wrang een
  17. If he didnae have a job wi us, wid he still be working with England? No, cos he was found oot. I dinna ken why he’s been missing on mair than one occasion. I was excited at the his appointment but as a striker, set piece expert and assistant manager, nae convinced in the slightest
