  1. Slightly off subject, and borrowed from FB, taking the knee (Simon style)
  2. Doesn’t help that we’ve nearly had exclusive BBC Alba Football TV rights, with Tait and the team playing some great stuff. If Montgomery somehow survives the usual summer cull, wouldn’t be surprised to see the bottom five in the top league, all chasing Tait.
  3. Not 100% sure, but it looked like the Scotland squads for the last two home games, were training at QP new ground.
  4. Another hands up here. Walked out of Airdrie a year ago, after the most abhorrent display and like many broken and baying for the BOD to bin them. I,ll be honest and so disappointed when they were not relieved of duties. Ready to give up ST after decades of supporting the club. Roll on nearly a year to that debacle and got to admit that the decision to see out their respective two year deals, has been rewarded with promotion, with ease and games to spare. Happy to take the medicine…..
  5. Hands up with this guy. Gave him a very hard time and thought the two year deal was wrong. The guys overall performances over the past couple of months have been superb. No coincidence since Miller has came in Nesbitt’s form has been class. We can’t disregard how important Tait has been. Watched him when he came on against Alloa away and knew he was special. His overall play has allowed Miler & Nesbitt to have almost a free role at times. What a difference going to watch Falkirk. Brilliant feeling going to the games now, very noticeable many new faces at the away games, especially with the young team, younger fans in general and many families. If the Ultras could get a vote for player of the season, they get mine. Simply superb and players are feeding off.
  6. When does the the club launch the new merchandise (new strips etc)
  7. Agree, thought Annan in general have played some decent football and have done reasonably well against us. They are fighting hard to keep safe and not dropping down. A difficult game ahead. Didn’t realise Kelty could (difficult)nick a play off place depending on others. Across the league Accies and Alloa are the only two teams that are pretty much guaranteed their end places after the 36games.
  8. Apart from a couple of decent chances, if I was an Accies fan, I’d be gravely worried about the players attitude, application and general malaise. It was an absolute canter and we’ve had teams like Annan and Edinburgh giving a far more dig. Play offs are cup finals - play like yesterday and you’ve absolutely no chance of getting up.
  9. Settled into local and proud to overhear a few locals talking about our club. In a city divided by the arse cheeks, sitting proud as Fck as a bairn.
  10. Said earlier not fussed whatsoever today, and feel the run in is a bit of an anticlimax after the brilliant Saturday at Montrose. We’ve been exceptionally good since the beginning of the season, and would love to go unbeaten, yes but no hang ups if we don’t. I’m sure the players will take care of things.
  11. If the post regarding Notts being after him is true he’ll be away. Reality will be he’s probably going to be on minimum 4/5/6 times what he’s on at present.
  12. Spencer signing an extension and Morrisons two year extension should not be underestimated, and a credit to every single supporter, patron, FSS, BOD and everyone else associated to the club. Can’t remember, certainly not for a decade+ have we got the core of the team signed nearly three+ months before the new season. Although we’ve a few games left honestly feel apart from the last game, the games are important in one sense going the season unbeaten, but season friendlies for me. Really looking forward to the close season, new merchandise, some surprise signings and renewal of STs.
  13. As said it would be great to go unbeaten for a season, but no hang ups if we don’t succeed. We’ve won the league with games to spare, we’ve played some of the best football seen at the TFS, we’ve assembled for what I regard are the best ballers since our last stint in the big boys league, we’ve brought unity between the fans and the club, we’ve got the Ultras who have been magnificent, we’ve greatly increased our average home support, and we’ve now got a Bairns club touching 300 members, and finally we’ve got merchandise that’s so bloody good I’ve spent easily another season ticket costs on.
  14. No complacency, the exact opposite, I’m sure M&S will let them out the traps.
  15. Didn’t expect we’d sell our allocation. The leagues won, we’ve had tremendous backing for the last four or so games. Many fans I know are enjoying wee break, and just far too many Saturday shite kick off times, we’ve endured for a month now. Still take a decent support.
  16. Had to read this a couple of times to get my head round the debt. Was there not some financial rules brought in to stop this happening? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68768050
  17. Someone’s posted on X, brilliant and players looked stunned with the youngsters. This you can’t buy, the clubs future in good hands. Special thanks to a Mrs Sarah !
  18. Sorry completely disagree. It’s brilliant that we could be on course for filling 90% of the stadium. Our reward - Champions and a team to be bloody proud of. The club needs revenue and it’s fantastic to have 2000/2500 fans more than our average gate this years, attending the game, however who are these people? If we can maintain our great form and fill the stadium albeit, for me it’s a party day regardless. Montrose a week ago will still be the highlight for me. Fans (both sides) pubs, atmosphere, game, Falkirk after the game, just a brilliant day/night.
  19. Said this yesterday, but as posted it throws the FY out.
