  1. I'd expect us to stick with the same lineup from the weekend. There might be some calls for Vale to come straight back in but we've seen this season that Ketts isn't one for chopping and changing teams a whole lot so unless someone has picked up a knock I think we'll be the same starting 11.

I'm hoping we can get another win and edge closer to finishing 7th. We'll gift Hibs a goal like we've done for most teams this season but after the previous 2 games I'm feeling slightly confident we can continue to finish the season on a high and the bold Thelonius can get a couple more. 2-1 to the mighty.

  2. With all this talk of possible new goalkeepers, I just wanted to add something that I had been told a week or so ago, Kelly has had a contract offer from Bristol Rovers. I was hesitant on posting this because I know how some people just post nonsense for views or clicks but I decided I'd say it seeing as the person who told me has gotten things right before. If it happens then fine it's something else they've been correct about, if not then I look like an idiot and I just don't post anything I hear again aha.

On the Halliday chat he played very well the night we routed Ross County at home . He still has a good touch and is able to recycle the ball well but at times gets caught on his heels - I think he is lacking that half yard  that you get with match fitness and he may be able  to get that back with a good pre season. Far far too early to be writing him off IMO.

This is where I'm at with Halliday too. I think if we can get him fully fit in pre-season, which I've got no reason to think we can't, we'll have a decent enough highly experienced back up on our hands and IMO that's never a bad thing.

Yeah, but the defense was all over the place and basically gave a free header.

Don't keepers and defenders have bonuses for keeping clean sheets? Is this just them conspiring to reduce the wage budget for us?

Yeah, I was maybe a bit harsh on just Kelly there, everyone should be doing their job a lot better and not conceding such a poor goal but it's something we've seen all season long.

FFS. Some guy in the john hunter stand going absolutely mental at Spittal, spewing abuse. Some other fan is telling him to shut it and the abuse guy goes up to fight him.

And now the other guys kids are crying since stewards are getting involved. Ffs it's just a football game...

I saw that, absolutely no need for roasters like that. He's been kicked out now.

Whilst that’s all a nailed on grim certainty, I’m more concerned about how our rebuild is going to go.

Yeah I'm with you on that. The size of rebuild we'll need has me rather concerned too.

As for next seasons kit, I still live in hope that we'll get a new version of the jester kit at some point.

  7. I missed the first half as I was in Campbeltown with Carluke Rovers but managed to watch from when they scored the penalty in a pub, it was great watching it with the few Motherwell supporting players we have on the team and committee in a pub with a bunch of increasingly raging Rangers fans. For the criticism that the team and Kettlewell have deservedly got at times this season they were all brilliant to a man on Saturday. Especially Bair, for someone who many, myself included thought was a poor signing, he's absolutely proved us all wrong and I'm more than happy to take back what I said when we signed him. As for Spittal, we have to do whatever it takes to keep him, he's POTY for me. As someone said previously, even when we were going through that run of no wins he was still very good. Also on Kettlewell, I've always wanted him to do well and succeed with us even though for a good while I thought it was time up for him, especially after that defeat away to County so I'm happy he seems to have turned things around.

I didn't think Caseys tackle was a red when I saw it and still don't after seeing it back numerous times. When I saw the foul for the penalty I didn't think it was at the time but seeing it back and knowing it was for SODs part in it I can see why it was given. It shouldn't have taken so long to decide if it was or not though.

I rarely, if ever, listen to Clyde Super Scoreboard but had to on Monday night and was surprised to hear Halliday say he got a broken nose as I can't remember seeing anything that caused it. Does anyone know when it happened and who did it because he doesn't say who it was.

Saw a suggestion that it may have been a tight hamstring he was suffering. Either way, the only possible reason he can be on the bench after Sunday's showing has to be a niggle of some sort, surely?

Far from the most convincing of line ups, that's for sure.

Aye I'm not convinced by the lineup whatsoever. SOD playing gives me the fear.
