  1. Glad to see Halliday back in the starting 11 after we I thought we missed some fight in the midfield against Aberdeen.
  2. I've got my ticket for this, it should be a good night.
  3. I missed the first half as I was in Campbeltown with Carluke Rovers but managed to watch from when they scored the penalty in a pub, it was great watching it with the few Motherwell supporting players we have on the team and committee in a pub with a bunch of increasingly raging Rangers fans. For the criticism that the team and Kettlewell have deservedly got at times this season they were all brilliant to a man on Saturday. Especially Bair, for someone who many, myself included thought was a poor signing, he's absolutely proved us all wrong and I'm more than happy to take back what I said when we signed him. As for Spittal, we have to do whatever it takes to keep him, he's POTY for me. As someone said previously, even when we were going through that run of no wins he was still very good. Also on Kettlewell, I've always wanted him to do well and succeed with us even though for a good while I thought it was time up for him, especially after that defeat away to County so I'm happy he seems to have turned things around. I didn't think Caseys tackle was a red when I saw it and still don't after seeing it back numerous times. When I saw the foul for the penalty I didn't think it was at the time but seeing it back and knowing it was for SODs part in it I can see why it was given. It shouldn't have taken so long to decide if it was or not though. I rarely, if ever, listen to Clyde Super Scoreboard but had to on Monday night and was surprised to hear Halliday say he got a broken nose as I can't remember seeing anything that caused it. Does anyone know when it happened and who did it because he doesn't say who it was.
  4. As soon as I saw he was going to be up front on his own I was expecting this sort of game from him.
  5. I couldn't help think he was getting his excuses and reasons in already as he mentioned the pitch right away.
  6. Aye I'm not convinced by the lineup whatsoever. SOD playing gives me the fear.
  7. I'm guessing Callan Elliot has fell off the edge of the earth? Don't know about Gent but Vale has to be carrying a knock after clashing with Hart, looked like it was maybe his ankle when it happened.
  8. With Paton added to our list of long term injuries this season I'm hoping Nicholson gets a start and Halliday is back fit enough to at least be on the bench. Like a few others have said I also have a feeling of Morton about this game and I agree with @Busta Nut that we're running on fumes and I'm expecting it to get worse as I don't think Kettlewell will change the team from the weekend.
  9. Happy with the team. I was expecting Vale to be dropped and I was hoping Halliday would be back but otherwise it's a good team.
  10. That's decent enough. Happy we're going with 2 up front. Assuming Halliday is injured? What's happened with Callan Elliot? Not heard anything about him since we signed him.
  11. I can't really add much more to what most have said already. The only people that saw last night as a real upset were those who haven't watched us all season. Kelly should have been dropped a long time ago and he should never be captain. At one point in the 2nd half the ball went out for a throw and in the break before it was taken I noticed Halliday shouting and giving instructions/directions to (I think) Paton and I thought that's what I want from my captain, someone to take responsibility and give help or instructions to teammates and if necessary a bolloking if they get something really wrong. I'm not saying Halliday should be the next captain but it was one of the few moments of someone showing some leadership. I'm scunnered about last night, I think very highly of the Scottish Cup and would love us to be able to have a real run in it but yet again for the 2nd year in a row we've been outplayed, out thought and outfought by a Championship side and it's just not near good enough. As I said to my Dad leaving the game last night, if in a years time we get drawn away in this round again and I say that could be a good away game please just remind of this and Kirkcaldy.
  12. Only one change from the County game, Miller replaces Halliday who's on the bench.
  13. Are the pie stalls taking cash or are they cashless?
