  1. Always difficult to work out how we are going to do until the real stuff starts in the league . I remember back in Jeffries day us matching West ham in a fantastic pre season game at Brockville with drinkell scoring and it ending one each . We really played well and I had high hopes only for us to get relegated that season.  The one mentioned above I still don't understand what the feck happened. We started that game against st mirren like a train and should've been 3 up after half an hour. They equalise Loy goes off with an innocuous injury and comes back an utter shadow of the player he was even in pre season and it's been downhill ever since.

Afraid to say it won’t matter a jot. A an order of decree amounts to nothing more than the fact you can pursue money from them. It costs money to employ sheriff officers to pursue it and a guy like him will have hidden any money away. It will be better to bite the bullet and just accept you’ll never see that money again instead of losing more trying to get it back.

The old board should be taken to task for that deal. Myself and a few others pointed it out here at the time and several said it wouldn’t matter so long as they paid in full. Unfortunately it seems the last board didn’t care to look that far ahead.

Would appear his company have been providing the service for our kiosk tills too. A right royal feck up by the previous bunch.

  3. Ardeer should be bouncing this guy straight out the door now. I fear for their future as he owes money left right and centre on sponsorship deals.  He's obviously some kind of Walter Mitty character . Time for your fans to start questioning this crook about the mess he's leaving at organisations all over Scotland.

Member of both B4L and Fss but that could be just Fss shortly, have had nothing from b4l in terms of AGM notes, updates on where the cash has/is going. Couldn’t make the fans meeting where the recent comments were made doesn’t come across well but will continue for now.

Seems to have turned into more of a grass pitch for life organisation unfortunately.

If set up to launder money then moving into sponsorship seems to have only shined a light on it.  Very strange behaviour.  The 'business model' for these type of shell companies must be to eventually go into administration with any money generated squirreled away before then or laundered into the accounts of the criminal fraternity. Not sure how they're benefitting from all these sponsor deals unless they've helped them win some big contracts they have no intention of fulfilling.  Can't see a way this ends other than jailtime.

Unless it's simply an owner playing Billy big boots and sponsoring all these clubs so that he can wine and dine have fancy holidays and pass himself as a successful business man for a period of time . Mark Campbell comes to mind.

The house of cards Clarke ePOS built looks like it's beginning to crumble. Quick search last week when it was mentioned returns lots of publicity for the company setting up "record sponsorship" deals with various SPFL clubs, Juniors, Lowland league and Women's teams - one could easily be forgiven for thinking they're main business was sponsoring not online transactions!
How they managed to hoodwink so many is an embarrassment.

Owner of the company has just taken over at Ardeer Thistle as well.

I'd be very concerned for the future of that club.

Owner seems to spend all his time on holiday and at hospitality at the clubs he's pretending to sponsor going by his Facebook page. Getting turned away by livi must be the last straw surely.

Christ it's real slit the wrists stuff on here and the season hasn't started yet. Ugwu and Henderson up top I think would be a decent front two with Oliver able to play in a variety of different positions . Not too bothered about the league cup first game of the league season is when it really counts

Everyone is in the same situation it seems.

    Final sentence reads:

'Meanwhile, others were holding out for bigger clubs or higher wages as "they see the start of the season as the last week in July when the league starts".'

These issues could easily be solved to some extent by allowing a limited number of trialists in the group stages of the league cup. It's absolute madness that this hasn't been changed yet.  The group stages were brought in to provide a competitive replacement for friendlies and yet you can't play players you're looking at signing. Typical of the clowns that run our game.

The court has a daily business register (called rolls) which is publicly posted each day and remains available for 5 days.

If it's over 5 days ago though then you're snookered I suppose. You'd think the bloody papers would pick up on this kind of thing.

What’s your opinions on Charlie Telfer currently on trial at us ?

Bags of talent but a one decent game in every 15 type of player unfortunately. Long list of managers who thought they could get the best out of him but it hasn't happened yet.  You'll probably sign him as according to sheerin our players were fantastic in training.

Well doesn’t surprise me . I’ve had dealings with the director of that company and he left me and my family out of pocket . Also I know lots of suppliers and staff owed serious amounts of money that aren’t going to get it . How is someone allowed to go around and do this in our communities it’s disgusting . Just a note 📝 I sent Falkirk a email at at the time with my reservations and worries regarding this “ company “ . Got no response .

Can't say I'm surprised you didn't get a response. Our old bod never listened to anyone and we're a complete disaster for the club. Hopefully none of the main instigators will be allowed to show their faces again at TFS.

Henderson is of definite interest for a loan deal. No idea about Graham though.

I'd say it's true 99% of the time.  It's a risk most chairmen won't take.

If a manager comes and says this player has become available and he will make a huge difference to the side bods will usually try and find the money. They also have a bit of flexibility depending on the situation. Some will keep some money back for exactly that reason too.

It's amazing how many fans of clubs in the Championship and League One think their board can 'stretch the budget to get one of 2 new faces in'.  It doesn't work like that.  Managers get their budget and that's it.  If they spunk it on shite like you have the last 3/4 years, or Dunfermline last year, then it's tough luck.  Our fans are guilty of it to, do these fans think the chairmen is holding money back from the manager?  They're given what the club can afford.

In fact, the term 'stretch the budget' should be banned on this website.  It does my c**t in.

I'm not sure that's true to be honest.  I've been at AGMs and meetings where the club has stated that we've gone over the budget given to the manager at the start of the window . You  often get managers asking boards for more money too and getting it.

Anyone wanting a tenner on Ruth scoring more goals than Gary Oliver this season? Obviously still got players to come back from injuries but we're way short all over the park.

Most Oliver's got in a season previously is 7 so could well be right. He's not a prolific striker. Hopefully the other strikers will be though.

  15. Qualifying from the league cup groups is a bonus when you're a league one club. At the end of the day these games are about getting your players match fit and ready to hit the ground running in the league. Results aren't all that important in the long term. Christ who can forget the final Houstie season when we looked like Brazil in the league cup and then were absolutely honking in the league.  You want to win the games but the first league game of the season is when it really counts and even then you still have another month to sign players after that.
