No we don't. The first two masters series events are in Indian Wells and Miami. It's only after that the players then return to Europe for the clay court season.

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again....How the heck has Taylor been so dominant for so long. Surely other players have as good hand/eye coordination...surely other players practice for hours on end. What is the main reason he is so good ?

Clearly they are less important than grand slams but in no way are they "minor events". They are effectively mini grand slams which have a 128 draw and all the top players present. Outwith the 4 grand slams they are the most important 9 weeks of the year.

Not sure if I'd call the ATP Masters Series events at Cincinnati and Madrid and the Masters Cup in Shanghai as minor events. As for Nadal he beat him at the US Open. Djokovic lost to Murray in back to back Masters Series events and they are yet to meet in a grand slam. Yes, Andy lost to an inspired Fed in the US Open final but perhaps it was the exception rather than the rule.

The last 8 times Murray has faced the top three he's won - 4 against Fed and 2 each against Nadal and Nole. Not sure why people don't have more confidence in him beating them again.

Is it time Hendo packed the cue away and found a new day job ? Yes, he's probably still playing at a level which would see him hang around the top16 for a few more years but is that enough for a 7 times world champion ? I know Davis has hung around but I for one would like to see Stephen call it a day. However, I don't think he will but how long can he keep losing to blokes not fit to lace his boots. Based on what ? For me he is one of the most overhyped ball bashers on the circuit. He is the Wayne Mardle of tennis ie everyone seems to think he'll give the top players a game and 9 times out of 10 he is thrashed. Way too inconsistent to challenge the big boys over 3 sets never mind 5.

Seems Murray is getting under Fed's skin these days. Every time the Swiss master opens his trap he's having some sort of subtle dig at oor Andy. Thing is all he is doing is giving Murray even more motiviation which isn't a particularly clever strategy by the former world No 1.

It's his court jester attitude that gets on my tits. Having been humped 4-0 by a bloke who then lost 5-0 in the next round at the World's you'd think he'd have more on his mind that tarting up his walk-on. Whether he means it or not isn't the point, it's his continued attempts to market himself as the PDC clown when he needs to concentrate on his darts.
