  1. It’s certainly a bumpy ride at the moment for us Queens fans. Leaving the ground after Dundee game, there was a feeling of optimism given that second half performance, that we can make a good fist of this season in the Championship. Then the downer of today’s news and what it is likely to mean for the fan base. As most of you have said, it’s the lack of communication and explanation that I think is really killing this back-to-back promotion mood. I’m sure that most of us would have not been put off supporting the club if we were told something along the lines of this back in June… ’Lesser won’t be ready till Feb due to ‘a, b & c’ and we’ll be up in Stennie till then with a few games taking place on Fridays. We appreciate this is not what you want to hear but we can’t do this without you all, our loyal fan base, and look forward to us all coming together again at our new home at Lesser’
  2. Agree, the club should have been upfront on this from the moment the clashes were clear. Depending on how long we are playing up there, seems there’s 7 or 8 clashes with Syngenta for the season. So almost half the home games likely to see switched to the Friday. The news item on the site couldn’t have been shorter if they tried. No explanation, no nothing.
  3. Looking forward to a proper test tonight, yes it’s the league cup but will be good to see where we are at against the team likely to win the league. …If I can see any of it, for the blistering sun expected tonight.
  4. Enjoyed the first trip up to Stennie tonight. Good result again from the boys, but defensive issues from Saturday present again. Looking forward to seeing who the 4 or so players OC wants in are, hopefully another right-winger is on that list as worry about Longridge - our play doesn’t seem to flow as well just now when the ball comes into him down the right The new signings continue to fit in well, liked the look of Jarrett when he came on. Hopefully see Naismith on the park vs Dundee next week too. Pleased for Williamson too. First of many.
  5. Think he’ll do well and offers good competition in a midfield, that still looks light. Where are we seeing Grant Savoury’s best position in this team?
  6. Completely agree that the buses should be for all fans, not just those that hold a ST this season. There will be some fans who have held a ST in previous years, that just cannot make all home games (as possibly at Stennie all season). And their decision to not renew, owing to those reasons, is probably hard enough for them, then throw in exclusion from bus too. Having said that, I do appreciate the challenges that come with organising the buses, based on numbers that may be unknown, until close to the actual match days. It’s far from ideal and sadly the fans feel the effects hardest - again.
  7. Just from counting the red seats on the ticket system - over 150 ST sales already.
  8. 1. Dundee 2. Partick 3. ICT 4. Queens Park 5. Raith 6. Arbroath 7. Cove 8. Hamilton 9. Ayr 10. Morton
  9. Queens’ went on sale today - will be interesting to see how many get bought over the next week or so.
