If that’s the case then good. Merely going by a comment from a well kent Falkirk fan on Facebook who claimed he’d been blocked for “mild criticism”. Quite right to block the Falkirk fan for a horrible post like that. It’s a bloody game, no need for stuff like that .

Well in my opinion bringing up the KKK stuff, the Tommy Robinson fan club and the Nazi salute screams of witch hunt.

Unfortunately it’s an attitude that seems to be creeping into the club now. Criticism even when valid is forbidden.

I don’t think there’s any doubt that as a percentage of overall support Airdrie definitely have the highest number of bigoted/racist supporters but if the details in the press are to be believed this certainly looks like it’s turning into a witch hunt.

The new(ish) admin of the Twitter account has also been blocking some Falkirk fans who dare to offer criticism in the replies to tweets.

Keep that stuff behind closed doors. Amateur hour once again.

This is exactly what I mean, even valid criticism is shouted down as some sort of agenda from the new guys. Why is that? What I’ve said is a perfectly legitimate complaint and not in the slightest abusive. Attempting to silence legitimate concerns is not a good look.

It’s exactly what you’re saying! One lot are getting grief for spunking money on shite and new lot are somehow deserving of praise for doing the exact same thing. You’re even doing it in that post, justifying blowing tens of thousands of pounds on a player who lost interest in football about 3 years ago just because for some reason you feel the need to defend every decision the new guys make.

So the old mob rightly get grief for wasting money on dross but the new lot deserve credit for wasting £1500 a week on a fat waste of space?
