  1. All we can ask for is a home tie and got it so all good. United versus the pars just brilliant
  2. Happy with this signing, just need to find cover for the flanks in defence and if possible another centre forward.
  3. The gaffer has said that Millen and Brown will return this week to training and all well will be added to the squad for Saturday but he did say that he feels that it is probably too early for them, and more likely to be ready for the cup game. He also said that he was hoping to arrange a bounce game so that they can get some minutes under their belt since they have had no pre-season as such. So whilst there is a chance for them for Saturday don't hang your hat on it.
  4. I would guess that he probably did it in a tackle. In terms of formations, I do think having only 1 defensive midfielder does leave us exposed at the back. Would like to see us mix it up if and when we have a fully fit squad as I do feel when they are we can revert to the old 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 as well as the new formations depending on the opposition etc.
  5. Corr's injury was picked up against Annan and he didn't realise it until the beginning of the week said the gaffer.
  6. Interesting to hear in the post match interview that Ross Millen and Scott Brown will be back on the pitch training from Monday but gaffer feels that next weekend is too early for them, says that more chance of being involved in the cup game and that Gullan is still another week to ten days away and Connelly and Matthews still a bit further. Corr's injury is a toe one that is bruised and the boot is a precaution.
  7. At this rate the gaffer and mickey might have to put their boots on.
  8. Agree but maybe we might look also at right back as whilst I know McGill and Masson can fill in there neither is their natural position and we are light too at DM without Brown and Matthews since Spencer left and think we need McGill in there with Stanton until either Brown and Matthews are back.
  9. Does make you wonder what the hell we do in training, surely can't just be down to rotten luck, just seams to be season after season. Wonder if this will force our hand to bring in any players quicker than planned, since none of the injured players the gaffer had hoped might make it has made the squad apart from Ethan Ross, and he has been out that long he hasn't got any match fitness.
  10. Regards Nanetti: In September 2010, Nanetti joined Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers on a one-month loan. Making his debut in a 3-2 reserve fixture win over East Stirlingshire, he then made his stay permanent. He remained with the club until his release in December 2010.[3]
  11. That is correct, was on loan to us in February 2001 and played 8 games scoring 4 goals before going back south but returned in November and played 15 games and scored only once and was released at the end of the season.
  12. Hawley's second loan with us seen us also loan midfielder Craig Stanley from Walsall during the Calderón period.
  13. It was Mark Peers, thanks guys. Below is from Wikipedia Peers began his footballing career at Liverpool in 2001. He left for Raith Rovers in 2003. Peers got off to a good start at Raith by scoring on his debut[1] but was to make only another 4 appearances before leaving Scotland early in 2004.
  14. Of decent loan signings not yet mentioned I would say Karl Hawley was decent enough, can remember us signing a lad from Liverpool but can't remember his name but his time with us wasn't good at all.
  15. Rumours of Dunfermline being interested in him too. Do feel with the injuries we have returning soon or not that a DM we could do with. MacDonald would be an excellent signing.
  16. Hamilton comes in for Jamie Gullan in the only change. https://www.facebook.com/100064278296728/posts/pfbid0PYSQPkBJH5RSd69QUZDXCnGcgrYmNQryQZycn2nyqSHKnCBxwWDE9Di75CgvppCjl/
  17. Received my order today of both the home and away tops, and have to say that I am extremely pleased with them and so glad to have went the 1 size up, as it fits really well. Thank you to all of you who suggested going the next size up.
  18. Thank god for big Kev, typical of us to put the fans through the ringer, christ Dylan just stroke the penalty home.
  19. Thinking of getting the new away top, am I right in thinking with the sizes that you should go up a size so that they fit?
  20. Not sure, have known that the rule in cups in the past has been the need to be registered 14 days prior to the game? I could be wrong those more in the know can correct me.
  21. We have had plenty of players who have played for both clubs, to hold a grudge against someone is daft, the best thing we can all do is get behind Euan and the team.
  22. Sounds like the Hartlepool fans weren't too keen on any of Hartley's signings
