I take it the "Ticket Only" situation is a way of bribing people into the lottery. Or are the club trying to cash in on a second leg which if hypothetically let's say Talbot won which I don't see happening 5-0 in first leg and the second leg is over before it starts, if tickets already bought then they make the money they wouldn't have.

I still think this will be a last attempt from JG to screw over Talbot, sell tickets and then only pay per person through turnstile. Anyone not making the game is 100% money to Darvel and not split between Talbot and the SJFA.

What is the official capacity, I know the capacity for Aberdeen game was higher as temporary license was granted based on having additional terracing, toilets etc...in place at that game which I can only assume won't be in place this time.

I never knew anything about Gall until I saw his antics on a film where he was more interested in getting it up Talbot than running a club.  Maybe sums it up they are going down the grubber, and the legacy he is leaving is everybody hates Darvel rather than us. Thanks John.

  2. You have to want Talbot to win as they have always kept their SJFA status. Darvel under Gall drew out the association, and are here simply because they have a chance to win it. To me that is an embarrassing u-turn from a club that thought they were bigger and better than everybody else. They were helped by an association who under pressure to try and keep this great competition afloat opened the doors to all and let the likes of Darvel and Pollok in the back entrance.

  3. Actually looking forward to today's match, these are the games where you are tested, and although we are not the finished article Tucker and Alan have slowly put together a young squad who are all desperate to show their talent. With relatively no chance of winning the league it would be good to see some players getting a chance to prove themselves like Abed, Schoneville and Urquhart.

Yes talbot threw it away, it was their league to win but guess what that happens in football. We will use the old firm as an example, how many times have rangers or Celtic threw the league away when it was theirs to win? That doesn’t make the team that won the league think it counts any less as the other team threw it away.  It doesn’t make the league win any less because talbot threw it away. Darvel still had to win their games regardless of what Talbot done you are a clown 😂. The run in to win the league was very impressive considering the amount of games that had to be played over a short period of time. Just look at Talbot last season, they had a build up, not quite as bad as Darvels 21/22 season, and they were bitching and moaning about playing to many games.

If it was only infrastructure who do you think paid the wages numpty?

Again you will find all of the out at the AGM in the summer.

Now they don’t matter as they have caused nothing but harm to the club since they got their marching orders and that’s a fact, you only need to look on here to see that. All the current committee were here before the Aberdeen game and were not just here for the glory of that. There was no sign of glory when they came, it was a long way away.

Past committee members were found out for only being interested in the coin being spent and yous got found out then dismissed, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

As well as knowing the ins and outs of Darvel finances, you now know what all the other clubs were paying/ spending on players the season after Covid. I’m surprised you have enough time in your day to write on here or do anything else for that matter with amount of clubs you are heavily involved in. You know zero facts and each post you put on here shows that it just malicious rumours you try to spread.

The reason why we were complaining about matches was the fact we were made sit on our arses when teams who were miles ahead of us in games were given a league match. The association made a total mess of our season.

Nickname for the new club started in 2012 who grabbed the Airdrie licence to get into the League.

Luckily for them the pyramid hadn't started at that point or who knows what level they would have got in at.

I googled this and it took me to the Kerrydale Street forum. Hmmm

Abed been really positive in both of his appearances against Vale of Leven today. Really positive getting forward and got a good few crosses in to the box. Means Neill can play in his natural position too.

Felt today that we took far too long to make changes. Smith and Glasgow should have been on much sooner.

Smith and Glasgow should not be on the bench

Decent performance and a good 3points but lost 2 bad goals both from the same area, for me the 2 Neil's need to play at centre back , who would you have at right back and left back, could McCracken play at RB ? And we can see from both goals that's its our left side that an issue. Cant make those mistakes next week

Abed is a right back and had a good game against VOL and then not a sniff of the ball this week. Neilly should be centre of defence. Sconville left back.
