I really liked one of their songs (Blonde On Blonde) and every time I read a review of theirs it always mentioned this crossover hit they had... Popular. Here's the lyrics to it.
Think I'm off to download Blonde On Blonde now actually.
You know, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants isn't that bad an album... some sub-standard songs on it but not as bad as I remember.
Anyway, got an Atlantic compilation on now... Ruth Brown at the mo.
A Cock And Bull Story with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.
Some fantastically funny moments, most of which were when Coogan and Brydon were speaking between themselves. The end and the start were very similar to the interview they did on the Chris Moyles show about a month ago.
7/10.
According to the back of my DVD box it was 1986 the film was released... I think the song was re-released on the back of one of the Levi adverts.
Currently listening to a link on the radio show.
My younger brother presenting Give Us A Tune on the listen again feature on the BBC website...
Currently Embrace at the moment... I told him to get some Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder on, goodness what the old diddies in Shetland will think of that.
