  1. I see it as a real possibility that with the state of the club they will follow the likes of Cowdenbeath and Brechin with multiple relegations within a short space of time. In my opinion we are actually much much more vulnerable to it than they were. Its clear this season is all but done and any money from Allan leaving should be put into bringing in proven league 2 players. The two strikers brought in recently are a start.
  2. The odds of Duffy being shown the door is zero, bearing in mind that a player is assisting him with the coaching. I would doubt the budget is there to do it. Most of the decisions since Jan 22 have been fatal in getting us to where we are, giving Lennon another contract, letting him rebuild another squad, letting the move to Hamilton take place without long term assurances of where we will play. None of the decisions suggest those making them will sack Duffy. And lets face it- many of the problems lie much deeper than him. This season is a write off and based on the Dumbarton game a few weeks back - with the squad that Lennon built - we need to urgently start building a team able to compete in League 2. They bet us with ease. Otherwise I genuinely fear that we will be in the lowland league for 24-25 season.
  3. The signings so far have been a slightly better standard that I had expected. The fact that they are being signed until 2024 is surely a sign that Duffy is here to stay. If we end up in league 2 which seems likely then the two strikers being signed are a good move, as Allan and Cunningham could be elsewhere. On paper they both look like they will do a job.
  4. I struggle to think of a time I've seen Clyde in such a bad place, not even ten years ago. I genuinely feel it's too big an ask for Duffy to get this lot to a play off as yesterday was dire. It wasn't even good enough to compete in League 2. Too many players need moved on for it be saveable. Realistically, if what others have said about the budget are true, then a loan signing and Jones being re-signed are whats next this month. Depressing stuff.
