Been happy that relegation would get us away from St Mirren and Dundee fans. Just sunk in that it also means we'll have to deal with Dunfermline and Falkirk fans and their "we have 300 more fans so are a far bigger club" chat.

Let’s be accurate, it’s a lot more than 300 fans extra Dunfermline and Falkirk have.

keep the crowdwanking jibs coming 😊

And I thought Falkirk were bad winners. Can you not focus on your own team's great season without the need to gloat about other teams misfortunes?

I’m afraid that’s a stupid comment. We’ve had to deal with clubs we didn’t even know had a hatred of us gloat and rejoice in our disasters over the last few years. The extent of this gloating has been so extensive it would challenge even the jibs Sevco took through the banter years.

so with that I’ll leave you with a haha and hope you are feeling proper resentment at your relegation 😊 I hope my comment makes you beg that Falkirk have a disaster next season.

  3. Amazed Muirhead is doing a job with Thistle. I was pretty happy to get shot of him and was actually surprised Ayr took him on after he left us. Complete hothead who used to argue with fans more often than anyone I can think of. Still remember him shouting “shut up” and swearing at fans as the ball was still in play and he was supposed to be defending.

I don't think there will be a single QoS fan unhappy tonight. But given you think you've played the last year in League 2 I don't imagine you'll be able to figure out why we're so happy.

Apologies for my error, you are in League 1 and have earned your right to be there!
But don’t con anyone that there’s no QoS fans who are unhappy. You’ll certainly have been all excited seeing us 2 goals down and looking forward to carrying on your obsession with Falkirk by spamming this forum. Must be so infuriating to see Falkirk fight back just as you squandered your big lead 😊

Given how wound up some Falkirk fans are after drawing to Annan, if Alloa beat them next week I expect a few of them will be mentioned in here.

How wound up are you after blowing your 2 goal lead against Montrose? Or did you do a pitch invasion to celebrate securing 7th and preserving your League 2 status?

Sadly you won’t get to find out how gutted Falkirk will be at blowing our invincible status. Poor you 🙃

Talking to Coll in elliots tonight and he said 'I'm just glad the Kelty player was ok" and that he was sent off for 'serious foul play' so it's a 2 game ban that the club are not appealing but he did joke that he's going 'full John Terry' on the last game

That could mean a lot of different things. Is he planning on pumping one of his team mates mrs? Is he going to racially abuse someone? Is he going to bring his Dad who has some of Colombias finest with him?

  7. In terms of technique, I think the Ethan Ross volley probably is goal of the season. My vote will go to Morrison’s last minute strike against Montrose though. The importance of the goal at a time when it was tight at the top and pulling that out in the last kick of the game was huge.

Last I was aware league positions etc were decided on results on the field and not attendances/fan bases? Hence Accies actually being one of these premiership teams you mention for a sustained period fairly recently.

If this has all changed then it’s quite big news and a lot of clubs need to be made aware of this as may aswell pack up and go home.

I’d be interested to see you find any of these Accies fans who you say actually believe we should be a premiership club.

Fan base generates income which then contributes to the quality of players you can buy. To make it even more simple for you, that means if you have more fans you have more money to buy better players. Therefore, bigger fan base means more potential and investment in a team. Your fan base puts you on par with Clyde, East Fife and the like.

What’s the association between our perceived level of fan base and thinking we ‘should’ve’ won the league?

Well it’s a matter of being realistic with what your club can achieve. If you have a part-time standard support then you can’t expect to be a championship team let alone a premiership team which some Accies fans actually believe they should be. Do Accies fans not wonder why they always have smaller supports than the teams they think they should be competing with? It’s literally like Falkirk being angry because we’re not competitive with Hearts.

As I’ve said what would the club have to gain from lying considering the game is on tv and the evidence is there?  I expected a much better travelling support from the bairns after all the chat on here.

I’ve just explained why you’ve lied, your club are trying to make your fan base seem less dreadful than it already is. You genuinely have a League 2 fan base and you think you should’ve won the league, just comical.

It's a matter of fact he has not. At its most basic level he was set a target for this season and cannot achieve it.

Two seasons in charge, zero out of two targets achieved.

You could still get promoted so he certainly hasn’t failed. This is beyond self entitled. Falkirk is the second best team to play in this division but you expect Rankin to surpass what Sevco did in the league. It’s just ludicrous.

  12. 8 minutes ago, Todd_is_God said:

I dunno why Falkirk fans are so desperate for it to be true that Rankin has done a good job.

It’s a matter of fact that he has. You’re sitting on 65 points right now, in normal circumstances that would have you top and at very worst still in contention for the title. Do you really expect Rankin to lose zero games and draw only one or two in a whole season? That’s the only way you could’ve competed with Falkirk this season. There’s no one who could realistically do a lot better in charge. Hamilton do not have a great team or squad.

    Get well soon mate.

How does it feel? Blowing a 2 goal lead to Rangers and league title looking unlikely? How much did it burn when Rangers hit their third when you thought you had that win? How do you feel about Brendan? Remember when you lot did that moronic ten sign and didn’t even win ten in a row when you had the easiest run to a ten you could possibly have? 🤣

    How does it feel?

It’s the fans who were constantly on here, just as the FT whistle had blown, before any concern for their own teams results.

It’s nice to see some of the comments from other clubs fans tonight but to the @Vikingtons and @cb diamonds of this world.

    GIRUY!!!!

It’s very much certain fans of clubs like Morton, Ayr, Raith and Airdrie who have been obsessed to a new level with us. The first two mentioned there seem to have a complete delusion over the stature of their club in the Scottish game.

Aye without meaning to get all rugby fans territory about it, but well wishes from other fans is appreciated.

That won’t cut it for me. The stick we have taken has been way overboard and I won’t forget. I can’t gloat too much because ultimately we’ve only won the third tier; although I know that has really burned a lot in Scottish football tonight. What I’m looking for is a proper promotion push next season. If we do achieve promotion back to the top division I’m going to absolutely bombard certain teams fan pages.
