I believe that the 2nd place was mostly Scott Robertson’s doing. If you look at it this way, other than Mark and Wayne, Scott was the only member of the coaching staff that wasn’t a player aswell which meant Irvine and Harkins had to participate in training aswell, so at training Robertson would’ve been the main man. Then as soon as he left it all went downhill because no one could properly coach them in training.

What makes him not captain material?

Depends if Andy will actually start considering the amount of defensive signings we’ve made, McCallum could possibly take the armband but not much people are keen on Keeper captains. Currently if Munro will be starting I would definitely have him as skipper, may still bring in a player that’s better captain material.

I know it’s our home kit and it doesn’t clash with much clubs but with the amount of times we’ve worn it this season then next season it’ll be quite boring seeing all the players in it again. But I do quite like what we do with kits, keep a kit for 2 years but get a new 1 every year. It’s good for the fans only buying one kit per season
