That's a fair point. It's tricky judging the merits of someone of having to work with an inherited ropy squad versus someone being judged on having had a close season to build a squad.

This is what football should be - supporting your local team, not one of the Bigot Brothers. Loathe them both. Rooting for Caley to stay up (even if I have to admit your current predicament is fuelling much County fan amusement). Reckon you’ll scrape it in the end.

It’s true that County are having an, er, mixed season and there has been plenty soap opera, much of it embarrassing. But…we’re not on the cusp of L1 or on the cusp of bankruptcy either.

F*ck a duck, that was a rum afternoon’s fitba. Fair play to Motherwell, boxed County in. Some gifts via howler goalie mistakes and comedy defending. Some missed chances that we lived to regret. Best parts of the day: Livi beating Saints and the lovely weather. County must do better on Wed.

In between County fixtures I follow Ayr, my local team growing up. I’ve had the misfortune to watch Ayr’s stream many a time and it’s dire. Your description of the lofty vantage point made me laugh out loud.
