We will do very well to reach the knock out stages and I think we are just too early in our development presently to make it far in but hopefully within the next few years we will have a number of players kicking on and doing great things. Ferguson - no gonna bother with this chat anymore Hickey - Two footed, comfortable in possession, reads the game well, goos positioning as a defender, can play a variety of positions. Not sure if he is quite Man Citeh class if he does then will probably be rotated a lot which might not benefit the Scottish NT. I think he may end up at a Spurs, Villa type team and do well Patterson - Not sold on him as a defender, still a long way to go there. He needs a team that plays to his strengths, playing as forward thinking RWB that can get up the by line and fire in crosses. McSauce - Arsenal won't sign him especially if Arteta is still there, probably go to a West Ham and do alright. I definitely think he is better suited forward though rather than a CDM role and getting on the end of things. Gilmour - He can play at any top team IMO, best suited to a spanish team IMO. Really needs to be at a team that dominates the ball to get the best out of him though.

I don't get the agressiveness in certain posters on here when offering a viewpoint on their thoughts about the team, isn't that what this place is about. I'm not saying anything outrageuous either.

I'm actually really perplexed at the attitudes people are taking on here, it really ain't that deep but definitely struck a nerve. It's all very deranged and kind of wished I hadn't of said anything now but i actually thought posters would of replied with sensible posts rather than getting quite aggressive. We are all Scotland fans after all and I will be at the Euros taking in a few games and want Mcgregor to perform as much as anyone else if he is playing which I fully expect he will.

I've been very engaging until people are calling me out for having an agenda, part of the ferguson family, being a moron, being a troll etc etc. All i've done is questioned Mcgregors role in the starting 11 as I believe we have a better player waiting to take his place now which has not been the case for a long time until this season. Hardly revolutionary! Somebody saying that Mcgregor is the most irreplaceable player in the Scotland is just bollocks or pish in my words. You're the biggest trol on here. Constructive feedback regarding Mcgregor is below... He is not a CDM, lacks pace, his passing isn't outrageous for example. I agree to an extent in that McGregor sort of brings out more of a balance to the team but he is more of a deep lying 'quarterback' type of CM, tidy in possession and is a hard worker and gets round the pitch well enough. I actually think Christie in his position at Bournemouth now can replicate this even better although his passing isn't as good as McGregor but he can cover the ground well, fly into tackles as he is quite robust and is decent going forward and then have Gilmour playing the McGegor role, taking the ball off the defence, starting the attacking play, pinging balls out to the full backs etc.

What is the point in bringing in Kelly, he's no good enough and neither is Clark for that matter. We should of brought in a couple of the younger keepers and tried them out.
