  1. If VDS isn't a striker, then what is he? As you say, decent enough at what he does, but doesn't really impact the game at all. He was absolutely anonymous yesterday. Not sure if I've ever seen a slower player. Moult definitely isn't the answer either, but he's a better option than VDS.
  2. Let's get into this mob from the off today Utd. Nothing to fear! Well, other than the inevitable penalty or two, the ref, VAR,and the rest of the officials. So, 4-3 win will do.
  3. Jeez, a win is a win. We barely won convincingly in the Championship last season. What makes you think it's going to get better in this league? There are no easy games in this league. Home or away. Every point is welcome and will make a difference to where we end up. Regardless of how Hearts are doing,I'd bite your hands for a win at Tynecastle any day of the week.
  4. Delighted with that 3 points. Game plan was spot on and we were never really in trouble. Wtf has happened to Shankland btw? Looks unfit, overweight, and totally disinterested. His body language is shocking.
  5. Welcome to the new lad. Probably not the type of striker we were all hoping for, but he's here and as someone else has said, another body and another option. Hope he hits the ground running. Also seems we've maximised the deals for Forbes and Rory. It's important to remember that the window as a whole has been superb! Better than any one of could have wished for. Well done to the club for that. Let's go.
  6. Fraser not a bad player in any sense. However, you'll have to land lucky with him and hope you're getting the good version. Attitude, fitness, body language are always being questioned. Hearts fans hated him and couldn't wait to get rid. Has it in his locker though.
  7. Right then. Forbes confirmed away. Goodwin on the wireless saying very hopeful of someone coming in tonight. The Man City lad? Prolific goalscorer so I've read, so bring it on.
  8. Thing is, it almost feels like money for nothing. We've not had him, so we can't miss him. The club is a business and must do what they see fit, but as a fan, I was pretty excited by this young lads potential.
  9. £300K deal agreed it seems. Disappointed with this.
  10. Hmm. A tongue in cheek comment I'm sure, but I'm hoping we've had the foresight to ensure he won't play against us. Whatever we all think of Tony Watt, he's capable when he wants to be. I for one am hoping he doesn't play.
  11. Can't agree about them being fitter than us. We were extremely comfortable for the full 90 there. Moult came on at the right time as well. No failures today, as comfortable as it could've been. Trapanovski again showing his worth. Ferry outstanding again. Holt had a great game. Babunski pretty quiet, as was VDS. At long last, we have excellent quality with the deliveries into the box. Enjoyed that.
  12. My apologies, I follow both and could only see Temple saying we're looking to add a striker.
