    I think a fair amount of info can be gathered by player movement / offers from other clubs / who they end up with / who they turned down, albeit speculatively, but back-of-cigarette-packet equations can be there or thereabouts - add in attendances, and off field activities / income makers and other than that, it’s a guesstimate really. So aye, it’s all a pile of pish really
