  1. If we draw all those games and are lauded for being unbeaten = 7 points Real life, 4 defeats followed by meltdowns & 3 wins = 9 points Win them all, league won = 21 points
  2. For me the inconsistency this season has been difficult. For a neutral, whoever they may be, it is probably a huge attraction to the championship, but it messes with you and does your head in. Are we good? Are we shite? Are we challenging? Are we treading water? As I’ve said previously, you really couldn’t rule out ANY score in this game and be shocked any more.
  3. With both sides needing to win, will it end up in a draw? Could see a 3-0 either way to be honest. I’m going for first to score - the winner. God knows what Ayr team will turn up
  4. I really like that top - apart from the tartan bits - apart from those I’d give it a 9/10
  5. If Grant Hanley can keep a clean sheet against Spain, I have hope for anyone in our back line
  6. Everyone seeing Murdoch on the bench pre kick off Everyone seeing Murdoch get a wee rest up before some crucial matches coming up
  7. After fighting Covid all week - this has cheered me up no end tonight
  8. This ^^^ I hate / love football (delete as appropriate) Each week!!!!!
  9. Signed. My daughter has autism and this would greatly increase my chances of her attending
  10. Totally agree - win safety, followed by a joyous celebration, followed by the sad realisation that you are celebrating just being slightly less shit than the rest of the complete dug meat around you #happyfriday
  11. I’m sure we are all agreed that the current custodians of the club and building an infrastructure for us to function in the top flight. Our foray at the top of the league must have been unexpected and certainly not in the business plan and I think that we are all a bit gutted that we didn’t have a great January window and go for the title. However, are we really ready for the leap yet? Do we have potential top league suitable players on the radar to recruit this summer? I know that this season was, on reflection, a glorious chance to win the league (as Queens are showing) and I’m 100% confident that they are not ready for top flight football, currently playing on a carpet in East Bumfuck. My main point is that I think it is important and correct that we are all looking for and expecting success on the pitch now. For far too long we have accepted mediocrity. Finally we have one of us in the driving seat of the club. It is time to expect and time to deliver - just maybe not this season.
  12. The Bangala el partido Can anyone see anything other than a straight forward Ayr victory?
  13. Was it not blamed on the worsening pitches at one point that season? Personally, I believe that was then, and is now, down to 2 factors. 1. Injuries to key personnel. 2. Other teams working out how we play and a lack of credible tactical changes on our part.
  14. This is our mini league now until end of the season, and we really need to win it to stand ANY chance at all
  15. McAdams is a great shot stopper, whereas Albinson has progressed this season to a pretty good all rounder. He is improving and will probably see McAdams off in the summer.
