#Gary
This is a pretty good match that's going to be ruined by a shitty ending no doubt !!

#Gary
Not what I expected at all there. That was a really good match I thought. Wonder where they'll go with this. Surely it won't be as simple as replacing Edge and Y2J. If they did that, it'd probably be HHH and fecking Mark Henry or some pish. Liam.
Not what I expected at all there. That was about as good a match as you'll get on normal TV now tbh. Wonder where they'll go with this. Surely it won't be as simple as replacing Edge and Y2J. If they did that, it'd probably be HHH and fecking Mark Henry or some pish. Evan Bourne would be a logical choice (assuming he's not going for Miz's US title at Summerslam).
#Gary
Orton wins but they made Miz look like a main eventer. Miz is awesome!

DA Baracus
I was in HMV yesterday and nearly purchased the Tagged Classics that had Rumble 99 and 00 on it. I instead got Rumble 07 cos it was only £7. Disappointing because the Rumble was so rushed. It got me thinking though that surely Taker will retire at Mania 27? If so, who would he face? I would go for either Kane in an end to their feud (HIAC perhaps?) if the rumoured feud happens, with Taker to win. The other option would be Taker/Cena, with a Cena WIN and finally a Cena heel turn. Anyway, 2000 was indeed an exceptional year for PPVs. The Rumble was exceptional and as mentioned the undercard was superb. No Way Out was good, with Foley's first 'retirement' in the HIAC match with HHH that was tremendous. Rock and Show had a decent match considering the Big Show was involved. The storyline really made that match though, although it was rendered meaningless when Show ended up being in the Mania main event anyway (so did the supposedly retired Foley). Mania itself was good, and the crowd were furious at the end with the ring being pelted with garbage. Backlash as noted was incredible, mainly due to the main event. When Austin's music hits the crowd go insane! Judgement Day was good, but it's worth noting that at first the crowd didn't realise that it was Taker because he looked so different. Can't remember too much about the rest of them. I think Full Loaded was Rock/Benoit. KOTR was the 3 on 3 affair (Rock/Taker/Kane vs HHH/Vince/Shane I think) whereby somehow the Rock managed to become the champ. Angle won the KOTR. Armageddon was that 6 man cage match was it not (Angle retaining against Rock/HHH/Rikishi/Austin/Taker I think?). Ah Summerslam. Rock/Angle/HHH but ended up being HHH and Rock for most of it due to Angle getting knocked out when the table collapsed. Can't remember much of the undercard but remember it was ace.

Probably the weakest of the matches between them teams.

It was the Armageddon Hell in a Cell, with Rikishis insane bump from the top of the cell to the truck conveniently filled with hay....it was like something froma cartoon.

banterman86
I've been watching the tagged classics stuff recently. Currently on Backlash 2000. imo, 2000-2002 was the best period in the WWF/E
#Gary
They're all on the previously mentioned watchxonline but you can only watch just over an hour of stuff then have to wait an hour to watch the rest.

Which is why I mentioned Tudou. You've got to put up with it all being in parts and loading time can usually be annoying, but if yer really wanting to watch PPVs from that period it's a brilliant site. I'm not sure on 2002. 2001 is the best year, PPV-wise, WWE have ever had. Every single one was absolutely terrific.

As an aside though yeah, 2000-2001 would be specifically my favourite period. Was 2002 not the height of the Snackdown Six?
DomDom
From about August onwards yeah, the Smackdown Six took over. Some right shifty PPVs though. Everything from the Rumble through to Summerslam ranged from average - bad for me. EDIT : I should point out I thought that Summerslam was a good PPV. Sir Kevin Of Kilsyth
I've got almost all of them on VHS. I'll make a decent buck for them a few years down the line when I'm a desprate alki needing his next bottle of whiskey.
