Absolute Bollocks.

Firstly, didn't play 30 games.

And he was pretty much our best player in every game he played in.

Was a star in an absolute pile of steaming manure last season.

Sorry to burst your little bubble but he played 24 league games, 3 Scottish Cup, 2 League Cup and in the friendly against Winterthur which makes… 30

See the club lost another £462k lasr year. We must be near £2m of losses so far 🤷‍♂️

No excuses that we burst the bank going for a top6 place.

Yeah the future is very bright was that mentioned last Thursday?

About 27 of them were sub appearances. Like Brandon he was used sparsely to start with, and then got injured, it wasn't till after January we started seeing him getting more of a run of games and even then it was April before he got a full game.

Don't really think he's similar to Bradley, in not being good enough, when MacKay was fully fit and played in his proper position, being allowed to get up the pitch, he caused teams problems, and made a big difference to our attack, much in the same way Anderson did, when played properly.

Martindale also took a while to realize how good Brandon was, before playing him and giving him decent game time.

Nearly £3m of losses under the current Chairman/Ex CEO tenure

If it keeps going like this there could be a good chance Livi FC wont exist.

Tye obvious question is can we afford all these players we are signing right now.

The usual suspects been very quiet since the fans forum last night 👀💀

Right back at you @LogieLivi. Silence is deafening around the latest club accounts and losses.

Lets see what positive spin is put on almost another half million pound losses. 🙄🥴

Now we know why they’ve been saying court cases cost £500k…

Of course, these results are from a different financial year ending June 2023, but that won’t get in the way of the narrative.

We're in the height of a club ownership battle (again 🙄) and its frighting how quite a few fans feel optimistic about the future by only hearing one side there are always many sides to every story or battle

I'm not sure how they're supposed to feel though when the other side are choosing not to say anything. Not even as much as a "We can't say anything because it's an ongoing court issue, soz", which would at least explain their radio silence. Also surprises me how much Ward is happy to sit and talk about when it's still in court, surely can't be doing that on (good) legal advice.

Ideally you could have a similar forum with the other side, even if it's the same format with some questions sent in and some time at the end for additional questions. The fans can only make their mind up based on the information they're given, think they deserve to be given both sides rather than the pointless sniping we've been seeing.

You certainly use that covid loan as a stick to beat the club with, without putting it into context..

Last season's loss was projected to be 800K, and the roll man was going to cover that, that went out the window with the court cases blocking the takeover though.

If there is any optimism for this season, you 2 are determined to suck the joy out of it. 🤣

Pre season underway and not a word on these friendlies, or how the new signings are looking, just questioning if we can afford them, and constant chat on debt, most of which was down to a world wide pandemic shutting out the fans, and every top flight club bar Celtic, having to take out loans to survive. But even that gets criticism from you, questioning the amount we took, and it not being the lowest, just comes across as you looking for any excuse to have a pop.

Totally off topic I must say I'm absolutely astounded by the deal that Obileye has secured in China. He was apparently on around £60k with us;  the club in China has secure his contract for £1.5 million per year. At first I thought it was a wind-up but its now been verified.

How on earth does that make any sense? Crazy money for below average defender.

I know its been happening all over Saudi but PRC?

Who said the other side unwilling to talk?

The Trust is absolutely positioned to facilitate such a request and organise a members meeting surely?

We're not beating anyone up. It's a simple fact in business you have to be able to have enough revenue to cover your costs otherwise it drives financial problems leading to a road if you continue to ultimate wipeout . With a near £3m of losses over a number of years it would suggest we're not living within our means.

one measure to your costs (salaries) to revenue and see what that is as a % as its a really good indicator in business to see if its really affordable.

Do you really think Mr Roll man would hand a cheque over and not want the money repaid or something for it in return?

It's coming across because it's serious. Some fans need to wake up and smell the coffee.

We keep going this way and the club will eventually die.

Take the accounts  and ask an accountant to give you a view. Go on dare you?

Yeah and under normal circumstances you'd be spot on to be going on about it, but it was during covid, where we, along with the other top flight clubs, were having a season and a half without any gate money, and were offered a Govt loan to help us survive. Really is showing an agenda to not acknowledge that, and try to use it as a stick to beat the club with. Without the covid loan you haven't quite got the ammunition you want though have you?

The covid loan wasn't required to be paid back for 20 years either, and with us being relegated, like Utd and Hamilton, we may even have a case for applying to extend it another 5 years, if we so wished.

Smell what you're peddling more like.

Seriously, stop adding covid loans onto the debt, because at that time nobody was able to live within their means, there was no money coming in through the gates, and it hit everyone hard. We have about 18 years to pay that back too, so you'll have a long time worrying yourself.

I think we have to get these court squabbles over shares dealt with first, that's the main issue on hand.

If the losses for 23/24 were projected as £800k and you add £500k court costs.. well I feel faint. At least we won’t find out until next June.

Now for the optimism: we beat a bunch of part timers from the nowhere leagues last night!

The point being this is not all covid other wise I would agree with you.

This year it would seem we're signing players we can't really afford 😢

No peddling anything. You keep going on about Covid the losses started before Covid and carried on afterward 🤔

The statement in the accounts suggests they were on target to break even last season. 3rd section circled.
