FuzzyBear
Blizzard in Linlithgow for the last couple of hours. As our street has not seen a plough or gritter since last winter it looks like another couple of days off work. -
CM.
Blizzard in Linlithgow for the last couple of hours. As our street has not seen a plough or gritter since last winter it looks like another couple of days off work. I could copy that word for word, changing just Linlithgow to Kirkintilloch and work to college. The fact the council only bother gritting the main roads and not the wee streets is a disgrace. My mum got stuck on Sunday trying to get her car out to go to ASDA, then got stuck on the way back in again. Then was half an hour late for her work yesterday due to getting stuck at the top of our car park.
drs
Phoned the office - only 4 people in out of 20. Aint even trying, cleared the path and took another 4 inches of snow off the bin but its still coming down. I'm starting to feel like Richard Burton in "Where eagles dare"
bsd
Alloa to Larbert pretty tricky this morning. Still pishing it down. Looks like I'll need the shovel out to get home. Fun and games again. Just heard the A80 northbound is shut.

I'm starting to feel like Richard Burton in "Where eagles dare" Speaking of bins, you should see our wheely bin area cause of the snow (all the wheely bins are in 1 little area as it's a block of flats). Every bin is overflowing plus about 100 bin bags on the floor next to the bins, and because the bin lorries can't get in they won't be getting moved any time soon. It's a pretty horrible sight and you can smell it as soon as you depart the close.
