Spain
Just going through the seasons again there and noticed Maester Luwin essentially tell Theon "once you go black, you never go back". He was of course advising him to join the Night's Watch when he was under siege at Winterfell.
Ranaldo Bairn
Just watched series 1 and 2 again there during the October holidays, and the exact same thought occurred to me - you must have a filthy mind if it's anything like mine, Spain!

DA Baracus
See, it's already begun. Not sure what I was doing. In my defence I wrote whilst straining on the pan
Njord
Bawz May looks likely for the start of next series. (Based on the schedules of the spring shows).
Kyle
Bawz May looks likely for the start of next series. (Based on the schedules of the spring shows). That probably means the book's release will come in not long before that I'd imagine. They are two completely separate entities now, so I'm quite disappointed to read that to be honest. Some quite juicy rumours about potential plot lines for the new season. I wont post them on here - google is your friend if you're interested - but season 6 promises to be excellent once again I think.
The Grass Is Greener.
Think I'll go back and watch season 5 again, might start it tonight actually. Still annoyed at myself for watching the first 4 when they were leaked online, ruined it a bit for myself.
Spain
I would never do something like that, not for ethical reasons, but because I hate mid-season breaks in things enough as it is without self imposing one on myself.
Ranaldo Bairn
You people moaning about a couple of weeks' wait are having a laugh. As I have not got whatever fancy tv channels are required, and refuse to download illegally, I have to wait until the following March or so to get a series on DVD. This means I am about a year behind you all, although I've read all the books. The upside is I'll still be getting "new" material a year after you lot.
Gianfranco
I've never understood why they leave it till around march time to release the dvd's?

Yeah, but you're still going year to year, same as us... just a year behind.
Spain
I've never understood why they leave it till around march time to release the dvd's? HBO (and probably Sky too) trying to justify you taking their channel instead of just waiting for the dvd's. Although to be fair, just before Christmas would be far enough.
Ranaldo Bairn
Yeah, but you're still going year to year, same as us... just a year behind. Yeah that's what I meant. I'm a year behind you, which is frustrating, but on the other hand I get a "bonus" year at the end. At least that's what I tell myself...
FairWeatherFan
I've never understood why they leave it till around march time to release the dvd's? Think it's partly because it acts as a promotional tool for the new season. You combine the promotional cost of both the dvds & new series to save a little money, but also increase awareness of both products.
Musketeer Gripweed
I now have a full collection of cuddly direwolves. All six. I bought Ghost when I was in New York, and have bought the other 5 from Amazon. I must admit, they are fucking brilliant.

well fan for life
I've only just started this and have done 15 episodes in a week. Shit the bed, lads. What the f**k has taken me so long to get into this?! Also, regardless of the quality of the show, it's worth watching for Natalie Dormer.
