Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

WRK, First of all, questions were asked about the expenditure by David Murray ten years ago, believe that or not. As for Whyte, fair enough on him, not enough research was done on him by the support groups but the question is how the support could have offset the potential liability of £130 million which was the figure in the liquidation papers.

Someone said the support could have withdrawn ST money, at what cost, the club becoming defunct perhaps like Third Lanark. Irrespective if the support had withheld ST money, and you were never going to get 100% support of such a move, ( Celtic fans tried it and nearly lost that club no matter what they all say, McCann and McCann alone saved them), the EBT situation would still have been there. Also WRK, I'm well aware that the EBT liability was down to Murray, that wasn't the question.

So any chance you could give a definitive answer as to what the support could have done when the financial liability potential was approx. £130 million on 14 June 2012 when the PLC Company Voluntary Arrangement was refused. As Green and co were the preferred bidders on acquiring the assets from day one exactly what could the support have done, a fan ownership move perhaps, couldn't have happened simply because as stated Green had it all stitched up from the start. So instead of deflecting over the past ten years try giving an answer on what was asked on events after 14 June 2012.

You didn't withhold ST cash in fear of club becoming defunct but that's what happened anyway.

That's exactly what happened anyway, no matter how many people say otherwise.

Rangers turn up at your ground, beat you 2-0, cheer, and leave. Your opinion on loving or hating us is treated the same aloof manner.

this guy is doing a thorough job of repeatedly stating he doesn't care about everybody taking the piss out of his football company.

protest too much, he doth.

who was that comedienne who did the sulky teenage girl...... 'Bovvered'

Ach he's trying to be all "dignified, superior and that."

And it was Chelsea fans that burnt the pitch, I gather.

Grrrr! Chelsea fans!!

This is why your opinions on Rangers don't matter. You bitch and cry about a flare on a piece of astroturf that could have been extinguished by a janitor with a bucket of sand. You'd have thought it needed Red Adair the way you sad cases go on about it.

Remember, this is from the fans who blamed everyone else for the death of Rangers, not to mention guys like Jardine dishing out threats on the steps on Hampden

It's funny that pyrotechnics were brought up.  Your treble went up in smoke, Europe up in smoke and now the green brigade up in smoke.  Enjoy that atmosphere at Celtic Park this season.

This from a team who are getting excited about seething records in a part time league

Dave j, Aberdeen bud, the question was what could the support have done with a potential financial liability of £130 million facing the PLC. WRK answered that question, that's all that was asked for nothing else, perhaps you should read the post and the question asked before a response.

It's a by and large an unrequited hatred. Although it is amusing to see people label Rangers a 'new club' whilst carrying over all their 'old' hatreds. It's good to see that your subconscious is steering you on the right path in your admittance it is same old, same old.

So you're saying they did the right thing, by doing f**k all. How dignified, how noble, how insightful the greatest, world record breaking supporters of these two clubs were. Did they threaten a childrens entertainer and want to burn down Starks Park just to keep things ticking over? Guffaw

Not looking good for the Knights of the Requisition is it. Popcorn and giggle-ometer at the ready.

And by the way what happened at Third Lanark is exactly what happened......, oops beaten to it.
