No club runs like that as managers will know what their budget is and a rough idea of their targets wages.

Unless McCoist really just said "I want Jon Daly" and then the board just paid whatever it took. Which would be utterly ludicrous. And probably not far from the truth.

What's the point in duscussing next seasons budget if he doesn't get involved in wages.

If it's really to be believed. What happens if he tells the board he wants X players offered extended contracts in April.

Then comes June and asks for 5 players. What happens if the board say, we can't get you those players, we spent your budget on negotiating new contracts you asked for.

Bad news?

Embarrassing yes but hardly a surprise, in many ways it would be good news allowing the club to break a lot of onerous contracts while receiving a meaningless penalty, there is also a chance that the court may refuse the boards choice of administrators and appoint a neutral firm.

Anyone that seriously thinks a manager is not privy to contract details is bonkers. As the manager he needs to know because needs to manage the dressing room. There will be a wage structure which is designed in part to prevent dressing room squabbles.

They really are a joke of a club, as a new outfit they really should get advice on how to conduct themselves.

If true then the spivs have played a blinder. King totally out of the equation once RIFC mention the tax convictions, AIM would never approve him as a director then.

Things just get funnier and funnier.

1 -2k ST sold and the saviour, or "last chance" gone. What happens next?

10,500 ???. Think you have added an extra zero in there mate.

Just asked a colleague here and he heard 1,050 at the weekend. Oh, the same colleague was quoted the approx 2K figure from someone at Ibrox earlier today.

right so a collegue and "somebody" at ibrox .

Bad news?

Phil tweeting once again about admin? he tweets about this almost daily, so when / if it eventually comes true he can claim that he got it right?

and if admin does happen just now what of it?

Embarrassing yes but hardly a surprise, in many ways it would be good news allowing the club to break a lot of onerous contracts while receiving a meaningless penalty, there is also a chance that the court may refuse the boards choice of administrators and appoint a neutral firm.

I don't understand why administration would be considered a step forward for the company. Sure, they could wriggle free from a few restrictive contracts, renegotiate a few players' salaries (assuming they agree to stay on for less cash next season) but they still don't have enough cash to get through to the start of next season. If all that's coming in is a reduced ST income, the running costs of Ibrox and MP, alone, will leave them broke again. A share issue, you say? :1eye

They couldn't stay solvent when they were in the SPL, how are they going to do it in the next layer down?

Liquidation.

1. He probably has. The assets only cost £5.5 million last time round., and the whole "club" went for £1 the time before. If he was serious, I'm sure the current shareholders would be happy to accept any reasonable offer.

2. It is indeed "beyond the realms of possibility", if he wants to compete with Celtic and in Europe. If the squillionaires who own Chelsea, Man City, etc. can't make a profit, what hope has the owner of the shambles that is Sevco? Who was the last owner to make any money?

Was that last question a joke? :unsure2:

The SFA must be in complete meltdown at their demented brainchild about to go tits up. :)

They did everything possible to con us all that clubs can now be separated from themselves and passed on like a scud mag in the jail to save the OF fixture they banked on each year for their bonuses.

The problem ?, the spivs, shysters & conmen seen an opportunity to make easy money from the cloned club and by God they have done so in spectacular fashion. The SFA now have to deal with a bunch of crooks as well as trying to keep the clone alive or their humongous efforts were all for nothing.

What do the SFA do now that the club is publicly in financial turmoil and the club is being used to fleece the loyal support.

It's a clusterfuck of epic proportions that has come back to haunt the SFA because the Ragers fans will ultimately hold the SFA to account because they have sat back and done the sum of SFA while the club is publicly going down the shitter.
