Any other club would have binned him two years ago. How does the mess at the club - arrests, payday loans, etc. - affect performance? You're sounding like the pieman there, in all honesty. The league is being lost by a bunch of professional players who know how much they're being paid, and know what their market value is. No real need to rock the boat or "give 110%" and, for the older players, a nice final payout before retirement.
