HoBNob
If anyones interested... The only team in the past ten seasons (excluding The Rangers season) to be ahead after 20 games and not win the title was last season, Stranraer were in top place with 39 points whereas Morton were second with 34. The average finishing points total for second place is 66 points, with our present points total and massively superior goal difference that's only another 20 points! The highest points total for a second placed team is 74 points, Ayr got it back in '09. Other such fun and faboulous facts. For points totals after 20 games over the past ten seasons we have the fourth highest total, Gretna, Morton '07 and QoTS all had slightly more points. Alternatively there's only been 3 teams who have had a lower points total than Ayr at this point while sitting in second, Morton '15, Alloa '13, Alloa '10. The average points total for the title winners is 76.5 All very comforting, it would require never seen before levels of bottle crashing for us to blow this.
parsforlife
Terrible news, we really need a couple of loan signings. Apparently a defender/midfielder is training with us though. A defence of BRE and Martin would be too flaky IMO. It is not great news for him to miss games at all, but that's a hell of a lot better time - frame than many of us (Inc the management) first feared. BRE and Martin would do enough in League games temporarily for the cup it's a struggle but county are favourites regardless. Martin is more than capable, but I doubt if he'd be able to babysit BRE to the same success that cheesy has.

callum-ayr
Good signing, but a bit of a strange one. Will BRE or McAusland lose their place?
DAFC.
Aye, it's Brad McKay. Never seen him before. Welcome to the Pars.
DAFC.
Good signing, but a bit of a strange one. Will BRE or McAusland lose their place? McAusland is injured and could be out for a few weeks. Lewis Martin is also out with a virus so that leaves us with only one natural CB, Ben Richards-Everton. So I'd assume he'll go straight into the squad. Will he be available for tomorrow's game, though?
Francesc Fabregas
Not that it really means much but McKay was rotten on loan at Stenhousemuir in 2012. I was very surprised he went on to play a bit for Hearts and get a move to St Johnstone.

Any Saints fans shed a bit of light on what to expect from McKay?

Will be interesting when McAusland is back who Johnston will go with.
Francesc Fabregas
He's played three times for St Johnstone and he's most famous for falling over and costing his team a goal in their 4-3 defeat to Hearts at the beginning of the season. He also made a comment about Juanma's diving and was accused of being a racist.
Honest Saints Fan
He scored a belter of a goal against a bunch of Armenian Farmers too.
Kyle
He started our first two league matches and hasn't been seen since. Our defence has been a bit of a shambles this season, so a tad surprising. Not sure if it's an attitude thing or if Wright doesn't rate him, but he's well done the pecking order at Saints. Good luck to him. He's a ball playing centre back- he thinks he's better than he is, but he should hopefully benefit from his spell away.
parsforlife
A center - half on loan from St Johnstone. Pleasing. (Probably should pay them this time tho )

Your manager was quoted in the papers as saying he would only go out on loan to the right club & he was still well in his plans - from that I gathered that he's still rated up Perth way.........
Shandon Par
Hope he keeps up the hungry wolf patter. Our central defence is going to be like League One meets Zoolander.
Kyle
He's so rated that he hasn't played a single match since the beginning of August, and our defence is pretty shite. It might be an attitude thing, it might be that Wright doesn't think he's ready. Wright's comments don't reflect the reality this season though.
Poet of the Macabre
He has to be a better option than Geggan. We him in the middle of the park. Good to have a few options when McAusland is fit.

From the comments I read, it sounded like he thought he has potential but isn't good enough for the Premiership yet. Imagine this loan spell could decide whether he gets kept on in Perth. If you can't perform in League One then you're kinda buggered.
