Walking Down The Halbeath Road
DAFC. replied to Parscelona's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Seeing pics of Hamilton and Otto with rewards from yesterday. Does anyone know the breakdown of all the awards? -
Thought MFW was streets ahead of everything else on the park (and not for the first time) Hamilton was doing his best to give away possession in dangerous positions. Still unsure what McCann can actually do as a football player. Totally pathetic display. Despite it being unlikely, we still could have got a promotion play off, but done absolute nothing to make the last two games worthwhile. Airdrie got a fucking doing today and we could have won 2 or 3 nil to make the last two games interesting. That's all on McPake though. Shitebag central.
-
This has been fucking dross. Defence is all over the place at times. Lost count how many times Hamilton has gifted them possession.
-
Otoo is a big miss. Not keen on that line up in all honesty.

Guaranteed MFW signs a pre contract with Dundee United. That's what usually happens. -

Looking at 300k for finishing 5th then. Key for us to finish strong and try and get that 5th spot. We will have hee-haw from the Cups after getting dumped out all 3 the first time of asking. -
Regarding the Benny challenge: it was a superb, last-ditch tackle The 2nd goal we conceded epitomises us. Too slow to react to everything. Shambolic how dominated we were in the midfield. Substitutes all over the fecking place too by McPake. Tactics all wrong as well. McPake has to take the blame for that result, as we had more than enough today to win that. Can't quite believe Chalmers has another year left with us. Horrendously out his depth. KRH and MWH both had their worst games wearing Pars strips also. Not quite sure what MOH was signed to do exactly? He's another that's here next season and shouldn't be. Too many players hiding and too scared to show a bit of tenacity. Completely allowed Airdrie's players to use their bodies to their advantage whilst we shite our selves and cry for fouls. Proper shitebag stuff.

Deserved f*ck all from that. No real improvement in the second half. Feel like Airdrie fell off. I feel like they were there to be took too as well, as they looked ropey at the back when balls were launched up. We never looked capable of winning second balls or the battle in midfield. Very disappointing. Airdrie pretty much spot on for fourth now.
-
Deniz has kept us in this. Fucking shambles again.
-
Move Welch-Hayes in to midfield for Chalmers and put Fisher at right-back. McCann ideally off for Moffat. We have to win this. We need to go for it now.
-
Second to every ball, not handling the wind, giving them way too much space to play their own game, too many players hiding...could go on all day. We have been way off it today. Could take about 4 of they players off. Too many players having off days. Massive 2nd half in our season here.
-
Airdrie well worthy of their lead. We are absolutely pish.
-
Windy one today troops.

Need to win all our remaining fixtures in my opinion to secure 4th, when you consider goal difference. Goes without saying, but if we don't win, then it's over for us. Totally bonkers season.

Him and Tod are our biggest prospects at the moment, but Taylor especially lacks the experience needed. Surprised Sutherland didn't get a loan back to League 2 tbh. Bonnyrigg fans seemed to like him. -

We aren't out the woods for finishing 9th just yet. I'm more worried about that than missing out on 4th. -

Would take some doing, but wouldn't put it beyond the club. -

Hughes seemed to have turned a corner at Ross County tbf. Alas, he was still the dim charlatan we feared. Not quite Peter Grant, but definitely up there. Peter Grant quite easily the worst manager we have had in my lifetime, and that takes some doing to beat Davie fucking Hay. -

Kane was Saints' main striker for their double win. Graham has won zero major honours, although has been involved in a few title winning sides in this league. Kane is clearly the better player and has had a better career IMO. -

Muirhead does appear to stamp on his foot. Is it enough for Kane to throw himself? Probably not, but it does look like a foul and a bit of a sore one. -

Yep, I voted him as my player of the year. Won't be here much longer I fear. -

Agreed. I think it would be a very good achievement to finish mid-table (5th) or above with the issues we've had throughout the season. It's no surprise we are looking good and hitting form with pretty much a full squad to pick from: it is a really good squad at this level, and one I hope we can take in to next season. If we can keep Kane and add cover, I don't see why we can't be challenge at the top end.
