da_no_1
Not completely relevant but I mind hearing that Rangers would have an overnight stay for most games that weren't in the West coast. Even if they were just playing St Johnstone, they'd have an overnight stay in Perth on the Friday night to save the players the long bus journey on matchday. No wonder they went bust Hired a whole floor at Dakota for an overnight stay on their way to Bayview. It's a mystery right enough.
cowdenbeath
They used to stay at Dakota when they played at East End Park also.
Aberdeen Cowden
Most of us abandoned dafc.net a long time ago Like he said..... Obsessed. Central park... as reminiscent of a football field as the Somme battlefield to a farmers field Not this one apparently.

DA Baracus
Have to say the picture on the club's Facebook today is boaky as f**k (the 'Lest we forget' monstrosity). -
HoBNob
Have to say the picture on the club's Facebook today is boaky as f**k (the 'Lest we forget' monstrosity). Aye quite, imagine the club paying tribute to those from the club that joined up during WW1. Judging by the amount of likes it received it went down pretty well with the fans as well.

Of course it went down with the fans; football fans are often morons. Just that the picture was absolute w**k and and a bit over the top. Tacky even. You're a daft c**t, you don't have an issue with your club paying respect to people from your club that fought in the wars but you do have an issue with your clubs fans respecting that? You utter idiot. Edited November 11, 2015 by Illuminati

Have to agree to disagree, the picture was pretty good, the graphics by and large are always well done, the guy in charge of it is pretty talented. And liking it certainly doesn't make anycunt a moron.

But aye, we shall have to agree to disagree
GordieBoy80
The club were always going to make a big deal out of it considering board member Ian Hunter's Grandfather was one of two Dunfermline residents to win the Victoria Cross during WW1

smpar
Ground holds less than 1300. I don't think there'll be that many, but I'd have assumed that they'd make it an all ticket fixture to be on the safe side. We could easily take 800 through mind you.
