Boo Khaki
The more that comes out about exactly what went on, the more I'm convinced Saleh's firing was only partially, if at all, about football. Woody Johnson has previous for batshit behaviours rooted in non-football issues, and I think Saleh's Lebanon patch has utterly tilted him. I doubt he'd have been fired if the Jets were 5-0 and going great guns, but the loss in London where Johnson would have undoubtedly had a lot of acquaintances looking on, plus the iffy play over the first month has precipitated it, and Saleh's personal politics have tipped him over the edge. There's no reason at all to have Saleh escorted out of the building by security if its purely a football thing. It reeks of Johnson having a vendetta.
lichtie23
According to reports Salah was at his desk prepping for the Bills game and Woody walks in, sit down and relieves him of his duties.

Mr. Brightside
Saleh was never particularly good as HC, so I'm not surprised he's been binned. Hackett is f**king stinking and should also have been sacked, at least he's been stripped of play-calling. That being said, Woody Johnson is a f**king horrible zionist b*****d and I long for the day he sells the Jets, however I doubt there's any millionaires or billionaires or there that would be much better.
Boo Khaki
Most of the extended Johnson family are utterly barking. The Jets have been used as a football in the internecine stuff between family members. I doubt the franchise ever leaves the Johnson family without the league stepping in, because it seems like the individual family members each regard control of the franchise as some sort of token of legitimacy.
