Pride_of_the_Clyde
I read that Kansas City will release Tony Moeaki. Guys are usually cut for good reason and there's then often a clamour amongst fans to pick bigger name guys up. Surely though, in this instance, this is a guy well worth a shot. I thought he was going to be one of the very best. Granted he's been very injury prone, but he has managed his best to get himself out there and feature. If you get him healthy you've surely got a cracking player on your hands and it's especially worth the risk if you already have a TE you can rely on for production so that you can mix Moeaki in there.
Dee4Life1893
Geno is only starting by default. Bit of a non story which is a shame for the vultures, err I mean media. I'll be very disappointed if he even looks at Revis' side of the field on Sunday. Big market team get all the press, good or bad.
placidcasual
The Jets are likely to lose in week 1. More than likely, but I'd rather see Smith now.
lichtie23
Have they released McIlroy?
placidcasual
Have they released McIlroy? Yes, Simms will be the 3rd string QB. McElroy will get a gig as a back-up somewhere I'd think. He only really had one chance with us and done nothing wrong.

I know Tyler Sash is the biggest name released. Few guys I liked in Charles James and Travis Frederick have also been chopped.
placidcasual
I'm sure he came on against Arizona and led you to a low scoring win. Yeah, Sanchez had thrown about 4 interceptions and Tebow was injured. McElroy passed for a TD in a 7-6 win.

Paul Marnie
Some of the bigger cuts IMO: Jonas Gray (Miami) Lance Ball (Denver) Tony Moeaki (KC)...genuinely shocked at this one Austin Collie (49ers) They'll all have surely have teams in the coming weeks
Super_A
Would take Collie at the Chargers if he could go a season without getting injured or knocked the f**k out.
GingerSaint
Ryan Spadila made the Jets 53 man roster. Local guy who was an undrafted free agent from Lehigh college (yeah, me neither). He has played exceptionally well and thoroughly deserves his place on the roster. Everything else was as I expected, although I thought we'd keep another receiver instead of a 4th QB (Graham Harrell). We currently have 5 receivers on the roster.
Count Mongo del Fantastico
Currently the Raiders holding 4 QBs and 2 Punters as part of the 53. I hope expect this will change once we've sifted through the detritus of the other teams, as other team rejects may be better than some of our 53.
GingerSaint
Looking around at other rosters and my guys Kerwynn Williams (RB, Colts), Aaron Mellette (WR, Ravens), DC Jefferson (TE, Cardinals), Justice Cunningham (TE, Colts) and Michael Mauti (LB, Vikings) made rosters. However, other guys I liked didn't. Chris Harper (WR, Seahawks), Dennis Johnson (RB, Texans) and Tavares King (WR, Broncos) were all cut. I'd love the Jets to bring in Johnson and Harper to see what they can do. Both had tough rosters to crack.
lichtie23
So who is the biggest free agent out there? Tebow? Moeki?
