When asked why he chose to climb Mount Everest, Edmund Hillary said "to get away from people trying to sell me double glazing." He went on to climb several other mountains before finally deciding the only solution was to go live in a cave.

When Edmund Hillary climbed Everest, he climbed the second highest mountain in the world. Due to a massive earthquake 2 weeks before his ascent, Everest dropped as K2 was faulted upwards, before the earth's crust rebalanced to make Everest the tallest once again.

Everest is also now 23m lower due to continued subsidence with an additional 2m as a result of ice-axe erosion.

Jaws - a misunderstood shark.

Quint is in an ancient Catalan name,  meaning Freedom, and as Captain of the Orca the Senyera flag can seen flying from the boat as Brodie, Quint and Hooper sail out to face to the shark.

The original book is in fact an allegorical story of the struggle for Catalan freedom, as a small band of brave men face the terrifying power of the Great White shark that is Spain.

Quint represents the every man of Catalan, a simple fisherman wanting freedom.

Brodie is the local police, the Mossos d'Esquadra, protecting Catalonia

Hooper is the young hopeful future of a free Catalan

The shark is a Guardia Civil c**t in riot gear with a baton trying to hurt folk.
